Palm Springs, CA (The Hollywood Times) 11/6/25 – Tonight, the DAP Health community gathered for a memorable evening that blended philanthropy, connection, and nostalgia in one of the desert’s most distinctive private spaces, the stunning Prescott Collection. This event officially kicked off Palm Springs Pride but more importantly a new season of giving, advocacy, and commitment to expanding compassionate healthcare access for all.

Hosted by local philanthropist and collector Brad Prescott, the evening invited guests into his extraordinary private gallery of vintage automobiles, spanning iconic designs from the 1940s through the 1980s. Gleaming chrome, impeccable restoration, and the bold styling of eras past created a backdrop that was both inspiring and deeply reflective, a reminder that history, when preserved and honored, continues to shape the future.

This event also marked an important moment of leadership evolution within the DAP Health family.

Chris Kiser

Recently appointed Chief Philanthropy Officer, Chris Kiser, was warmly welcomed by the community, stepping into the role at a pivotal time as the organization continues to expand services and outreach. In addition, Eve Fromberg-Edelstein was recognized as the new Chair of the Board of Directors, succeeding long-respected leader Patrick Jordan, whose passionate service and dedication have left a lasting impact.

One of the evening’s most meaningful moments came when Fromberg-Edelstein spoke about the continued development and impact of the Women’s Health Center at DAP Health. She highlighted the organization’s commitment to ensuring women have access to comprehensive, culturally informed care in a space designed specifically for their needs. She also underscored that health equity requires intentional support and visibility for women’s health services and reaffirmed that DAP Health is invested in building programs that meet women where they are, with dignity and respect.

DAP Health CEO and President David Brinkman delivered remarks that grounded the evening in urgency and heart, highlighting how the organization is entering a chapter defined by growth, inclusivity, and intentional care. Brinkman emphasized the power of unified community support, reminding those gathered that access to high-quality health care is not a privilege but a right, and one that requires continued advocacy and commitment.

Earlier, Director of Philanthropy, Matt Swearman, spoke to the essence of the gathering: when we invest in one another, we lift the entire community. The conversations throughout the evening reflected that very purpose, a shared belief that every person, regardless of background, identity, or financial means, deserves access to compassionate, comprehensive health care.

The conversations, camaraderie, and shared purpose reflected the very values DAP Health champions every day, ensuring every person, regardless of background, identity, or financial circumstance, has access to quality, comprehensive healthcare.

As this new season of philanthropy begins, one thing is clear:

Community is the engine that drives real and lasting impact.
And last night, that engine was humming with purpose, gratitude, and hope.
