Queen Sheba III Calls Royal Houses, Churches and Diaspora Communities to Prayer and Action for World Orphans Day

Royal Patron champions love, peace and goodwill through humanitarian collaboration, infant care and youth Empowerment

NASHVILLE, Tennessee – October 20, 2026 – The Stars Foundation announces a renewed international call to prayer and humanitarian action through the patronage of Her Imperial Majesty Empress Shebah Sai ’Ra, Queen Shebah III, The Queen of Sheba, Imperial Head of the African Kingdoms Federation and Royal Patron of World Orphans Day for Africa.

As World Orphans Day approaches on Monday, November 9, 2026, Her Majesty is encouraging royal houses, faith leaders, humanitarian partners and diaspora communities to unite in love, peace and goodwill for orphaned and vulnerable children. Her invitation connects the African continent with its diaspora and Caribbean communities, calling upon leaders to acknowledge the day through prayer and a commitment to practical service.

Royal Patronage in Service to Children

The Queendom of Shebah’s African Kingdoms Federation community encompassing more than 2,000 kingdoms, sub-kingdoms and thrones. As its Imperial Head, Queen Shebah III is encouraging collaboration across this traditional leadership network to bring greater attention and support to children facing parental loss, poverty, displacement and inadequate care.

Royal houses and participating communities are invited to identify needs within their own regions and respond through food assistance, educational support, healthcare partnerships, mentoring and support for families and caregivers.

The purpose is to make World Orphans Day more than a moment of recognition. It is an invitation to build relationships and commitments that continue throughout the year, helping children grow in safety, dignity and hope.

Caribbean Roots and a Shared Humanitarian Responsibility

Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Her Imperial Majesty brings a personal Caribbean connection to her engagement with Africa and its diaspora. Her World Orphans Day patronage embraces a message of compassion that reaches beyond African borders, encouraging Caribbean communities to stand alongside

African partners in supporting vulnerable children

Across the Caribbean, children face differing combinations of parental loss, poverty, violence, family separation and disruption caused by natural disasters and wars. UNICEF describes an average child poverty rate of approximately 33 percent in the Eastern Caribbean, underscoring the importance of stronger support for children and families. This is a measure of poverty, rather than a count of orphaned children. Her Majesty’s appeal invites churches, cultural organizations, businesses and diaspora leaders to respond to the needs within their communities while strengthening cooperation across the Atlantic.

A Royal Prayer and a Moment of Silence

Queen Shebah III is the Honorary President of the Council of Churches South African International, COCSAI, which is a network of 35,000 interfaith churches internationally.

In preparation for World Orphans Day, Her Majesty is preparing a Royal Prayer for submission to the Council’s conference, requesting that it be read in observance of the day and accompanied by a moment of silent prayer for orphaned and vulnerable children.

For Christian participants, the call reflects James 1:27, which teaches the responsibility to care for orphans and widows in their distress. Communities of every faith are invited to participate in ways consistent with their traditions and shared concern for children.

African Nations Unite for the Next Generation

Queen Shebah III’s Royal patronage of World Orphans Day encourages cooperation among traditional authorities, national and local leaders, churches, humanitarian organizations and youth advocates to unite for the welfare of the future leaders of our world.

Within this wider collaboration, H.R.M. King Kelvin Morgan, King of the African Youth Kingdom of the Bakaholokoe Monarchy, brings a focus on Education and Empowerment and opportunity. The Stars Foundation, The Queendom of Shebah, and Iceman Global Productions are actively collaborating to build and implement a Youth Empowerment Center in Ghana.

Medical Supplies and Baby Rescue

The Stars Foundation is working with the Queendom of Shebah and Federation partners to develop humanitarian support through medical supplies, equipment and its Baby Rescue infant incubator initiative. The collaboration seeks to help approved hospitals and healthcare facilities meet identified needs, beginning with proposed incubator placements in Ghana and expanding to other African countries as funding, donations and recipient partnerships are secured.

Medical supplies and equipment will be coordinated with qualified recipients, while incubator placements will depend on facility readiness, appropriate care arrangements and available resources.

Corporations, healthcare institutions, philanthropic leaders, churches and individual donors are invited to help turn these plans into practical assistance for vulnerable infants, children and families. The Stars Foundation is working with multiple suppliers to bring donated goods to the countries, and country governmental entities are encouraged to help bring the donated shipping costs and Custom waivers.

A Growing History of African Participation

Nigeria provides an example of leadership responding to World Orphans Day with tangible assistance: a November 13, 2023 newspaper articles documented Senators Solomon Olamilekan Adeola and Opeyemi Bamidele donating a combined ₦24 million to 13 orphanages in Abuja and Nasarawa State; and also described an additional ₦5 million donation to CHADASH and further pledges from other senators. On World Orphans Day in 2024, CHADASH described more than ₦200 million raised toward its work and an orphanage building project.

In Liberia, Bishop Robert S.M. Bimba, President of the Association of Evangelicals of Liberia, is leading a National Call for Prayer from sundown November 8 through sundown November 9, with organizers aiming to mobilize one million people. Nigeria will also host a Proclamation Ceremony in Abuja, Nigeria which is also being promoted in all 36 states by Ifeoma Mary Ejiogu, Ambassador for the United States Latino American Chamber of Commerce-Africa and The Stars Foundation.

She is former Knight Rider. April Curtis.  She has had a billboard on Times Square this year for us too.
