Cheryl Robeson Piggott Brings Together Country Music Personalities, Royalty, First Ladies and International Leaders in a Worldwide Mission for Vulnerable Children

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — From the heart of Middle Tennessee to royal palaces, government ministries and humanitarian missions around the world, Nashville-area entertainment executive and humanitarian leader Cheryl Robeson Piggott has spent two decades building an international movement dedicated to giving orphaned and vulnerable children a voice.

As Founder of World Orphans Day, launched in 2006 and observed annually on the second Monday of November, and Founder and CEO of The Stars Foundation, Piggott has combined her experience in entertainment, celebrity relations, television production and international humanitarian advocacy to inspire global awareness and action.

Nashville Entertainment Roots and International Humanitarian Leadership

Piggott’s career has brought her alongside internationally recognized recording artists, sports personalities, entertainers and world leaders. Her humanitarian advocacy has included relationships and collaborations with country music personalities Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, and  Stella Parton, demonstrating the powerful connection between Nashville’s entertainment community and charitable service.

In 2019, Piggott hosted a World Orphans Day Proclamation Ceremony co-sponsored by country music superstar Kix Brooks and his Arrington Vineyards. Distinguished guests included His Excellency Themba Masuku, Deputy Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini, his wife Dimpho Masuku, and attending ambassadors. The ceremony, held at Arrington Vineyards in Nashville area, highlighted the powerful partnership between Nashville’s entertainment community and international humanitarian leadership.

In 2024, The Stars Foundation hosted a First Ladies Summit, welcoming the First Lady of Malawi, First Lady Monica Chakwera and her eight-member delegation, including ambassadors, alongside a former US Ambassador to the United Nations. The summit demonstrated Piggott’s commitment to bringing international leaders together to advance humanitarian cooperation and the welfare of vulnerable children.

More Than $115 Million in Humanitarian Assistance

Since establishing The Stars Foundation in 2009, the organization reports facilitating more than $115 million in goods-in-kind humanitarian assistance, including approximately $89 million in medical supplies, supporting humanitarian efforts internationally.

Current initiatives include medical supply distribution, infant incubators for newborn rescue, shoes and educational resources for vulnerable children, and international youth empowerment opportunities.

Through World Orphans Day, Piggott continues to engage royal kingdoms, traditional leaders, First Ladies, government officials, churches and humanitarian organizations in a shared mission to protect children and strengthen communities.

Recent Royal Recognition Honors Nashville Humanitarian Leader

In October 2026, Piggott received an honorary knighthood from Her Imperial Majesty Queen Sheba III of the Queendom of Sheba, recognizing her international humanitarian leadership. Ms.  Piggott is publicly listed by Queendom as the H.E. The Hon. Crown Knight Lady Cheryl Robeson-Piggott and an African Royal Kingdoms (ARK) Crown Knight Ambassador.

Queen Sheba III also serves as a Royal Patron of World Orphans Day, supporting its international mission to bring greater awareness, compassion and humanitarian assistance to vulnerable children.

The recognition adds another chapter to Piggott’s longstanding work with royal leaders, First Ladies and international humanitarian partners. Her husband’s knighthood was announced earlier in the year by Queen Sheba III.

World Orphans Day 2026: A Global Call to Prayer and Compassion

On Monday, November 9, 2026, World Orphans Day will bring renewed international attention to the needs of orphaned and vulnerable children through awareness campaigns, humanitarian partnerships, media outreach and a global call to prayer.

Piggott is inviting churches, ministries, Christian broadcasters, recording artists, entertainment executives and families throughout Nashville and Middle Tennessee to participate.

“World Orphans Day began with a simple conviction that no child should be forgotten,” said Piggott. “From our office here in Middle Tennessee, we have been privileged to work with

extraordinary people around the world. My hope is that Nashville’s churches, entertainment community and families will join us in lifting up these children through prayer, compassion and meaningful action.”

With international television initiatives, humanitarian partnerships and global awareness campaigns underway, Piggott continues to demonstrate how a vision rooted in compassion can unite communities, entertainers and international leaders around the welfare of children.
