“It is with heavy hearts that The Music Center and our Board of Directors convey our condolences to the family of former Los Angeles County Supervisor Gloria Molina. Gloria Molina led with courage, authenticity, love and dedication to the people of Los Angeles County. As a stalwart for Los Angeles, she championed our most marginalized communities and forged new pathways for so many. Gloria Molina Grand Park exists solely because of Gloria Molina’s efforts—her fortitude and steadfastness made it happen. We are deeply honored to uplift her legacy as she uplifted all residents of Los Angeles through her commitment to justice, access and inclusion in arts, culture and civic engagement. Beginning tonight and throughout the week, we will light The Music Center and Gloria Molina Grand Park fountains purple in her memory.”
