Sweet Community Celebration Returns November 1 to Benefit The Center’s Community Food Bank
Palm Springs, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/4/26 – The Hollywood Times is delighted to announce its official media partnership with the 2026 Scoop Palm Springs Ice Cream Festival, returning to Downtown Park in Palm Springs on Sunday, November 1, from noon to 4 p.m.
The family-friendly festival will bring the community together to sample some of the finest ice cream and gelato creations from across the Coachella Valley—all while raising essential funds for The LGBTQ Community Center of the Desert’s Community Food Bank.
Following the success of its inaugural Palm Springs festival in 2025, Scoop Palm Springs is returning with more frozen treats, entertainment and opportunities to support local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. The first festival featured local vendors, live entertainment and activities while raising awareness and financial support for the food bank.
“We are thrilled to welcome Scoop Palm Springs as a media partner of The Hollywood Times,” said Valerie Milano, Publisher and Senior Editor. “This festival combines everything we love about Palm Springs, community, creativity, inclusion and a wonderful reason to indulge in something sweet. Most importantly, it supports the vital work of The Center’s Community Food Bank.”

Scoop Palm Springs founder and organizer Daniel Szpak previously shared that the festival offers a joyful and accessible way for the community to come together while making a meaningful difference for neighbors facing food insecurity.
The Hollywood Times looks forward to working with Daniel and the Scoop Palm Springs team to help make the 2026 festival its sweetest and most impactful celebration yet.
