Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 2/4/26 – North Carolina native and nine-time Carolina Country Music Award winner Paige King Johnson announces her new single “I Get Old Too.” The North Carolina native will release the song on Friday, February 20th.

Her song is a quiet realization, without too much heaviness, that time changes everyone. “I Get Old Too” grew out of a conversation with her 86-year-old grandfather. Their dialogue about acceptance concluded in finding aging as a privilege. The track reflects Paige’s genuine rise in her career alongside other well-known names such as Kane Brown and Scotty Mccreery.

Songwriters Johnson, Todd Pachey, and Mason Douglas had part in cultivating the honesty in Paige’s direction–saying more by saying less.
Johnson hopes that everyone can draw gratitude from this song. The Grand Ole Opry alum climbed to #29 in the Music Row charts and then completed her debut album Honky Tonk Heart. Her career’s focus is built on clarity and lasting connection rather than following trends.

Next to her expected release, recent ones like “Country See, Country Do” and “Cowboys Ride Away” help foster an underscored value that creates lasting impressions for the right listeners.
Despite Johnson steering for a softer message about age in “I Get Old Too,” her demand has garnered widespread media support including CMT and Heartland. Johnson’s new release and music are meant for people in real places and long drives with the windows down.
