Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 2/18/26 – Laughter will take center stage in Los Angeles on March 4 as Lambda Legal hosts Stand Up for Equality, an evening of bold, unapologetic queer comedy designed to entertain, and to empower. As media partners, we are proud to spotlight this dynamic event that proves humor can be one of the most powerful tools in the fight for justice.

Joining the already announced headliners, Margaret Cho will bring her Emmy- and Grammy-nominated wit to the lineup. Known for her fearless commentary on culture, identity, and politics, Cho’s presence elevates what was already shaping up to be an unforgettable night.

She joins a stellar roster that includes the brilliantly dry and boundary-pushing Tig Notaro and the sharp, charismatic Matteo Lane. Together, they anchor a lineup that celebrates the breadth and brilliance of LGBTQ+ comedic voices.

The evening, produced by Emmy-nominated producer Page Hurwitz, also features an impressive ensemble of talent: Dina Martina, Roz Hernandez, Rachel Scanlon, Guy Branum, Solomon Georgio, and activist-comedian Dana Goldberg.

Each performer brings a distinct voice, from razor-sharp satire to joyful absurdity, creating an evening that reflects the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community itself.

Stand Up for Equality is more than a night out. It is a fundraiser supporting Lambda Legal’s ongoing impact litigation, education initiatives, and public policy advocacy. As a national nonprofit organization, Lambda Legal works to secure full civil rights recognition for LGBTQ+ people and everyone living with HIV, without charging clients for legal representation and without receiving government funding.

At a time when equality remains under active debate in courtrooms and legislatures across the country, this event reminds us that community gathering, especially through art and humor, remains both radical and necessary.

Premium seating is reserved for sponsors, with additional sponsorship opportunities available through Lambda Legal.

For those ready to laugh loudly and stand proudly, March 4 promises a night where comedy meets courage, and where every punchline carries purpose.
