“Hindsight’s always 20/20, and ‘Should’ve Cared More’ puts a classic bluegrass spin on that old truth. You really don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. And with a mix of wit and humor, it’s a good reminder that sometimes we just figure things out a little too late.” Caroline Owens tell the Hollywood Times about her new single.

The beautiful bluegrass opening of Caroline’s new single sets the stage for her voice, which immediately brought Dolly Parton to mind. Listening to her felt like hearing a young Dolly singing in the mountains of Tennessee.  Caroline brings a fresh, welcome voice to bluegrass music. I have no doubt she will continue to sing her way up the bluegrass charts.  Judy Shields, The Hollywood Times

“The first time I heard Caroline, I could not see the stage; I just heard the voice. It was the very early voice of Dolly, and I think it was even a Dolly song. Now she’s all grown up, writing her own songs, and paving her own path. The voice first caught my attention, but it’s Caroline’s heart, talent, and authenticity that will make her unforgettable.” – Rhonda Vincent

“We are so excited and proud to see how the industry is embracing Caroline as a prominent female performer and writer.“ – The Isaacs

“We’ve been watching Caroline for a while and are so happy to see the success she has been having on and off the road. When her songs come on the radio, that distinct voice sets her apart,t and you know exactly who it is!” – Kody Norris / The Kody Norris Show

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Bluegrass singer-songwriter Caroline Owens makes her Billy Blue Records debut today with the release of her new album, Low Flying Planes, showcasing her distinctive voice, songwriting, and continued growth as an artist.

With Low Flying Planes, Caroline Owens continues to establish herself as one of contemporary bluegrass’s most compelling voices, blending the genre’s rich traditions with her own distinctive artistry. Her growing momentum is reflected in “Telluride” and “Evangeline,” each spending 60 consecutive days as the most-played songs on SiriusXM’s Bluegrass Junction before both reached No. 1 on Bluegrass Today’s Grassicana Chart. With increasing national recognition and a steadily expanding fanbase, Owens continues to make her mark as a vocalist and songwriter.

“We are really excited about Caroline‘s first full-length album for Billy Blue Records. We believe that she has an incredible future ahead of her and we’re grateful to play a part of her musical journey.” – Jerry Salley/Creative Director/A&R, Billy Blue Records

“Low Flying Planes is a collection of songs that reflect the many sides of life, love, and the bittersweet feeling that comes along with getting to chase your dreams. Each song tells a story that I believe listeners will find a little piece of themselves in. Having spent much of my life on the road, I’ve learned that even when you’re right where you’re meant to be, there will always be people and places you carry with you. This album is a reflection of those experiences, the stories that are woven into our hearts, and the little pieces of home we take wherever life leads us. I’m humbled and honored to introduce this album to the world.”

One of the album’s highlights is “Old Time Church,” featuring The Isaacs, bringing together Owens’ bluegrass roots with the group’s celebrated harmonies.

The album features a collection of songs that reflect Owens’ musical range and storytelling, including several tracks that have already received features. The title track premiered with Bluegrass Today, while “If I Had A Highway” debuted through Center Stage Magazine, “Should’ve Cared More” through The Hollywood Times, and “Cloud Nine” through My Kind of Country. “Baby, It’s You” premiered with The Music Universe, and “Chasing Down A Dream” was featured by The Country Note.
