Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 5/1/25 – Broadway lovers, start your predictions! The countdown to the 78th Annual Tony Awards just got even more thrilling with the return of the Tony Awards Challenge, the official interactive game that puts your theater smarts to the test — and could land you center stage in the heart of New York City.

Launched in partnership with Audience Rewards, Broadway’s exclusive loyalty program, the Tony Awards Challenge invites fans to submit their winner predictions across all 26 categories. The game goes live on Thursday, May 1 at 12 PM ET, right after this year’s Tony nominations are announced.

And what’s at stake? Just the ultimate Broadway getaway. One savvy theater fan will win a Dream Week on Broadway, featuring roundtrip airfare, luxury accommodations in the Tony Awards Terrace Suite at the Sofitel New York, and premium seats to five Broadway productions of their choice. The prize also includes passes to the Museum of Broadway and a dining experience at the iconic Sardi’s.

But even if you don’t predict a perfect ballot, there’s something in it for everyone. All participants who complete a ballot receive 500 Audience Rewards ShowPoints, which can be redeemed for discounted Broadway tickets — sometimes for as little as $36.

“This is our favorite way to close the theater season,” shared Katie Dalton, Executive VP of Audience Rewards. “It’s a celebration of fans — and this year, we’re rewarding everyone who plays.”

Jason Laks, President of The Broadway League, and Heather Hitchens, President & CEO of the American Theatre Wing, echoed that sentiment. “The Tony Awards Challenge brings Broadway fans into the fold. It’s interactive, exciting, and a brilliant reminder of the incredible talent lighting up our stages.”

Participation is simple: visit TonyAwardsChallenge.com, log in (or sign up) as an Audience Rewards member — it’s free — and start making your Tony predictions. You’ll have until Sunday, June 8 at 3 PM ET (Tony Sunday) to lock in your final choices.

A runner-up will also walk away with 20,000 ShowPoints, redeemable for tickets, merchandise, and one-of-a-kind Broadway experiences.

This year’s Tony Awards ceremony, hosted by Tony Award-winner Cynthia Erivo, airs live coast-to-coast on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from the iconic Radio City Music Hall. Tune in from 8:00 to 11:00 PM ET on CBS or stream it on Paramount+.

Audience Rewards — created in 2008 by leading Broadway theater owners including Shubert, Nederlander, and ATG — now boasts over 3 million members. The platform offers presale access, meet-and-greets, collectibles, and backstage moments fans dream about — like dance lessons at Wicked or conversations with stars like Jake Gyllenhaal.

The Tony Awards are a joint production of The Broadway League and The American Theatre Wing, honoring excellence and artistry on Broadway.
