Jennifer Corday’s Find Another Girl to Fix screening, a new Milano remix and a night at Hunters turn Friday into a Palm Springs trifecta of film, music and fun

PALM SPRINGS, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/31/26 – Friday, September 18 is shaping up to be a true trifecta of fun in Palm Springs, bringing together LGBTQ+ film, live nightlife and a brand-new dance remix when producer and DJ Michael Milano takes over the booth at Hunters Palm Springs.

And this one has a particularly fun Hollywood Times connection.

One of Palm Springs’ favorite lesbian rocker girls, Jennifer Corday, will be in town not only to support Milano, but also for Cinema Diverse: The Palm Springs LGBTQ+ Film Festival, where her music video Find Another Girl to Fix screens earlier that same day.

The five-minute film screens Friday, September 18 at 11:45 a.m. as part of the festival’s Shorts: Pot Pourri program at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

Following the screening, Corday and friends are planning a meet-and-greet with cocktails at The Reef, before the celebration moves later that evening to Hunters.

Find Another Girl to Fix is Corday’s latest single, available on digital streaming platforms, backed by a colorful, campy music video starring Corday and Cathy DeBuono.

Shot against a vibrant mid-century Palm Springs backdrop, the video was filmed in part at Valerie Milano’s Casa Milano, giving the project an especially personal connection to The Hollywood Times. Milano also serves as a co-producer of the video.

Corday and DeBuono star in the playful Palm Springs romp as Corday lays down some very clear relationship ground rules.

Its message?

Women already know who they are, and anyone arriving with a renovation plan may need to find another girl to fix.

Beneath the humor is an empowering declaration about independence, self-worth and knowing when someone’s attempts to “improve” you have crossed the line.

The song itself mixes real guitars, cello, bass and drums with electronic synths and sound effects, creating a pop-rock track built for Corday’s signature wit and attitude.

But now it is getting an entirely new life.

Enter Michael Milano

Corday has tapped producer and DJ Michael Milano to create a new dance-club remix of the song, “Find Another Girl to Fix (Milano Re-Mix).”

And where better to hear it than on the dance floor at Hunters?

“I love doing remixes,” Corday says. “It gives the music a whole new audience and makes the songs super danceable. It’s really an art to create a whole new song, and I am so thrilled Michael wanted to get involved.”

She adds, “With his experience and résumé, I know it will be amazing. I can’t wait to hear what he does with it!”

Michael Milano – Coachella Empire Polo Field

Milano brings serious festival credentials to the project, having performed at major music events including Coachella, Outside Lands and Electric Forest. A co-founder of Gold Bloc Artist Collective, he has also built his work around collaboration, production and supporting emerging artists.

The remix gives Corday’s already catchy track another identity — taking it from a cheeky Palm Springs pop-rock anthem straight onto the club floor.

After seeing Find Another Girl to Fix on the Cinema Diverse big screen Friday morning, Corday is encouraging festivalgoers and friends to keep the celebration going that night at Hunters, where Milano will be spinning live.

And yes, expect to hear “Find Another Girl to Fix (Milano Re- Mix).”

Whether Corday herself jumps into the performance remains part of the fun. For now, the focus is squarely on supporting Milano, dancing and bringing together several Palm Springs worlds for one very LGBTQ+ Friday.

Cinema Diverse audiences can start with the film.

Corday fans can celebrate the song.

Michael Milano fans can hit the dance floor.

And everybody can meet at Hunters.

Film + music + nightlife.

That sounds like a pretty perfect Palm Springs trifecta to us.
