The All-New Original Murder Mystery Series Also Stars Amalia Williamson and Tom Cavanagh
It’s great to see Brooke Shields back on television with Acorn TV. Acorn TV seems to have a real hit with You’re Killing Me. As someone with the last name Shields, I always joke, “Shields, like Brooke Shields,” and people instantly get the spelling right. That little connection makes her return even more fun for me as a longtime fan ever since I first saw Blue Lagoon in 1980.
Shields is well cast as author Allison Chandler, bringing warmth and confidence to the role. Add in a strong mystery element, and the result is a show that feels like an easy addition to any must-watch list.

Tom Cavanagh adds plenty of charm, warmth, and wit, making him an excellent fit for this kind of mystery series.

Amalia Williamson also stands out as an aspiring writer and true-crime podcaster who brings Allison a fresh perspective on how to solve a murder. The chemistry between the characters is one of the show’s biggest strengths, and the banter among the cast makes the series especially entertaining.

I’m already looking forward to the next mystery with Allie and Andi. An AA+ show for me. If the first installment is any indication, this series has plenty of charm and intrigue ahead. Don’t miss this new series coming up on Monday, May 18th. Judy Shields, The Hollywood Times
