Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/2/2026 – When television’s biggest night comes to a close, the stars will align eight stories above Downtown Los Angeles. On Monday, September 14, an Emmy Awards after-party takes over Level 8 at the Moxy Hotel, bringing red-carpet arrivals, music and entertainment together just steps from where the 78th Emmy Awards will be held earlier that evening. The celebration kicks off at 9:00 PM following the ceremony at the nearby Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE, hosted by Mariska Hargitay and airing live on NBC and Peacock starting at 5:00 PM Pacific. With Level 8 sitting right on South Figueroa Street, guests won’t have to go far to keep the night going.
The venue itself promises to be a major part of the experience. Level 8 was created by twin brothers Mark and Jonnie Houston, the Los Angeles nightlife veterans behind No Vacancy, Good Times at Davey Wayne’s and Break Room 86, known for transforming a night out into something closer to immersive theater. Their most ambitious project to date, Level 8 stretches across 30,000 square feet and brings several dramatically different worlds together on a single floor, including hidden entrances, theatrical lounges, outdoor terraces, a cathedral-inspired nightclub and a rooftop pool deck centered around a rotating carousel bar. For Emmy night, multiple spaces will merge into one large-scale celebration, letting guests wander between environments throughout the evening rather than stay put in one room.
The evening is expected to bring together television talent, celebrity guests, industry professionals, media, creators and tastemakers, with music running all night courtesy of Allie M, Becky Joon, Tay James and Equal. A lineup of brand partners will add their own layer to the experience, including Ghost Energy, Poppi, Flecha Azul Tequila, Aspen Vodka, Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, Cinderella Cakes and VOSS, with more pop-ups, gifting and guest experiences still to be announced. According to organizers, past events have drawn John Legend, Keke Palmer, Bella Thorne, Mikey Madison, Will Poulter, Luka Sabbat, Judd Apatow, Madison Bailey and Emily Browning. Who arrives this year remains to be seen, but with the Peacock Theater only steps away, Level 8 is positioning itself as one of the places where Emmy night will continue long after the final award is handed out.
The Emmy Awards After Party takes place Monday, September 14, from 9:00 PM to 2:00 AM at Level 8 at the Moxy Hotel, 1254 S. Figueroa St., 8th Floor, Los Angeles. The event is 21 and over, with black-tie and red-carpet attire suggested. Advance tickets are recommended and, according to the event listing, guarantee entry, while complimentary RSVPs are valid before 10:00 PM, subject to capacity, and do not guarantee admission. VIP tables are also available.
