Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 6/24/26 — Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum superstar Rod Wave is preparing to hit the road for what is shaping up to be the biggest tour of his career. The Florida-born rapper, singer, and storyteller has officially announced the Don’t Look Down Tour, a 25-city North American arena trek that will bring his emotionally charged performances to fans across the United States this fall.

Produced by Mainstay Touring, the extensive run kicks off September 12 in Philadelphia and concludes November 18 in Atlanta, making stops in major markets including Houston, Dallas, Detroit, Chicago, Brooklyn, Charlotte, and Los Angeles. Joining Rod Wave for the entire tour is Grammy-winning R&B artist and songwriter FRIDAYY, adding another layer of star power to one of the most anticipated hip-hop and R&B tours of 2026.

For Southern California fans, the tour arrives at the world-class Intuit Dome in Inglewood on October 1, 2026, marking one of the marquee stops on the nationwide run.

A New Chapter: Don’t Look Down

The tour announcement comes on the heels of Rod Wave revealing his highly anticipated seventh studio album, Don’t Look Down, set for release on August 28 via Alamo Records.

The upcoming project follows 2024’s critically acclaimed Last Lap, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and became Rod Wave’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. The new album promises to continue the deeply personal storytelling and emotional transparency that have become hallmarks of his music.

To introduce the album’s cinematic world, Rod recently released an official trailer starring alongside Golden Globe-nominated actor Danny Hudson. Produced through Rod’s own production company, Mainstay Films, the trailer offers fans an early glimpse into the themes and visual direction behind the forthcoming project.

One of Music’s Biggest Touring Forces

While Rod Wave often operates outside the traditional spotlight occupied by many mainstream artists, his impact on the music industry continues to grow at an astonishing pace.

With more than 15 billion career streams, multiple platinum certifications, and three consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 (SoulFly, Beautiful Mind, and Nostalgia), Rod has quietly become one of the most successful artists of his generation.

His momentum carried into 2026 following a remarkable year that saw him average more than 82 million weekly streams while selling out every stop on his arena tour, The Redemption Experience. He also earned a 2026 Grammy nomination for “Best Song Written for Visual Media” for “Sinners,” the title track featured in director Ryan Coogler’s acclaimed film Sinners starring Michael B. Jordan and Hailee Steinfeld.

The Voice of a Generation

What has consistently separated Rod Wave from his peers is his ability to transform vulnerability into strength. His music explores themes of pain, perseverance, mental health, love, loss, and triumph with an honesty that resonates deeply across generations.

Tracks such as Heart On Ice and Street Runner have become cultural touchstones, helping establish him as one of the defining voices of modern hip-hop and R&B.

As anticipation builds for Don’t Look Down, fans can expect a live experience that blends powerful vocals, emotional storytelling, and the arena-sized production values that have helped make Rod Wave one of the hottest tickets in music today.

Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, June 26 at 1 p.m. local time, with various presale opportunities available beforehand.

For Los Angeles fans, October 1 at Intuit Dome is expected to be one of the most sought-after hip-hop events of the fall concert season.
