“Remembering Kris Kristofferson: A Legacy of Music and Film”

Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/29/24 – Kris Kristofferson, the legendary country music singer-songwriter and Hollywood film and TV star, passed away on Saturday at his home in Maui, Hawaii. He was 88 years old. While no cause of death has been disclosed, his family noted that he died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones.

In a heartfelt statement, his family shared, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our husband, father, and grandfather, Kris Kristofferson, on Saturday, September 28, at home. We are truly blessed for the time we had with him. Thank you for loving him throughout the years. When you see a rainbow, know he’s smiling down on us all.” This message came from Kristofferson’s wife, Lisa, and his eight children—Tracy, Kris Jr., Casey, Jesse, Jody, John, Kelly, and Blake—as well as his seven grandchildren.
