Directed by Latvian filmmaker Gints Zilbalodis, FLOW is a breathtaking, dialogue-free animated adventure about a courageous cat whose home is devastated by a great flood. Finding refuge aboard a boat with an unlikely group of animals, the cat must learn to trust its new companions as they navigate a mysterious, water-covered world in search of safety.

Through its story of a changing environment, displacement, survival, and unlikely companions learning to work together, FLOW creates an opportunity to reflect on what it means to lose a home — and how cooperation, empathy, and community can help us find a way forward.

These themes resonate with The Welcome Table, another important film featured at this year’s festival from Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning director Josh Fox (GASLAND). The documentary centers the experiences of climate migrants from across six continents and explores how communities can respond with compassion to people displaced from their homes by a changing climate.

Our hope is to bring Spanish- and English-speaking members of our community together for a meaningful shared experience, deepen cultural awareness, and encourage thoughtful conversation about climate change, displacement, belonging, and our responsibility to welcome one another. Because FLOW tells its story entirely without dialogue, audiences can experience its beauty and message together without a language barrier.

Red Rose Film Festival Director Ryan Shank will join us to present the film and share a special announcement about the upcoming Red Rose Film Festival, taking place November 12–15, 2026, in neighboring Lancaster County.

Tickets for this special screening are $10, and children ages 12 and under may attend free.

We are thrilled to partner with our fellow regional film festival for this memorable celebration of independent filmmaking, extraordinary animation, and the growing creative connection between our communities.
