Simi Valley, CA (The Hollywood Times) 12/15/24 – For the very first time, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library presents the important world-class exhibition, featuring the authentic Dead Sea Scrolls. As the premiere and only West Coast venue, The Dead Sea Scrolls invites you to embark on an unforgettable journey through history.

The famed Dead Sea Scrolls are one of the most culturally and historically significant archeological finds in history.  “The Reagan Library in Simi Valley is extremely honored to be able to host an exhibition that displays those scrolls,” according to Mellissa Giller, Chief Marketing Officer.   “As well,” she said you can experience the historical and cultural history of Judaism and Christianity in a stunning display of over 200 incredible artifacts from 2,000 years ago.”

Cutting-edge gallery showcases how modern technology is unlocking the secrets of these ancient texts. Discover how advanced imaging techniques, DNA analysis, and artificial intelligence are revolutionizing our understanding of the scrolls and the people who created them.

This exhibition is more than a display of artifacts – it’s a journey through human spirituality, resilience, and the enduring quest for meaning. From the shores of the Dead Sea to the frontiers of modern science, the story of the Dead Sea Scrolls continues to unfold from the Second Temple period.

This show is more than just an exhibit. It features interactive experiences and opportunities to discover more by scanning QR codes and participating in guided tours.

Don’t miss an extraordinary opportunity to witness history firsthand and explore the roots shared cultural and religious heritage. Even if you’re not religious or spiritual, you may find the history and artifacts such as ancient vases and vessels noteworthy.

The exhibition was created by the Israel Antiquities Authority from the collections of the National Treasures.

The Reagan Library is open 10 am until 5 pm daily, except Thanksgiving, December 7, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
