Fresh off its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival on June 6 in New York City, Something Beautiful emerges as a bold visual album and cinematic journey, blending pop music, high fashion, and surreal fantasy. Directed by Cyrus alongside Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter, the film showcases 13 original songs from her latest studio album, all mixed for the big screen by legendary sound engineer Alan Meyerson (Dune: Part OneThe Dark Knight).

With stunning cinematography by Benoît Debie and creative contributions from director/producer Panos Cosmatos (MandyBeyond the Black Rainbow), the film radiates a vivid, dreamlike intensity. The project is a collaboration between Cyrus, XYZ Films, Sony Music Vision, Columbia Records, and Live Nation.

Something Beautiful is my dream project come true—fashion, film, and original music coexisting in harmony,” Cyrus shared. “My co-creators are all geniuses in their own right… Each collaborator has used their expertise to make this fantasy a reality.”

Coinciding with the film, Miley’s ninth studio album—also titled Something Beautiful—was released on May 30 through Columbia Records. The 13-track album, executive produced by Cyrus and sonic mastermind Shawn Everett, marks yet another evolution in her ever-surprising musical journey.

From Disney roots to experimental rock and now into the realm of visual pop opera, Miley Cyrus continues to reinvent herself while inviting fans into an imaginative universe where music, cinema, and self-expression collide.
