At the Military Influencer Conference in Tampa, Florida, on September 23, 2026, The Hollywood Times spoke with Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.) Richard “Rich” Corson about learning how the brain works and his mission concerning Alzheimer’s disease.
His bio in Whova, the conference app, describes his years of service in U.S. Army Special Forces and says he was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s in April 2025: a diagnosis he also discusses in our interview. Since then, he has made advocacy, education and public speaking part of his work.
