1. Holiday Magic Continues
The Christmas season doesn’t have to end yet—three festive experiences are keeping the valley merry through the final days of December. Magic of Lights continues to illuminate the Empire Polo Club in Indio through Wednesday, December 31 with its glowing drive‑through displays and charming Holiday Village. Holidays at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway extends the celebration through Sunday, January 4, offering special hours, a New Year’s Day Ride ’n’ Dine meal at Pines Café, and holiday dining at Peaks Restaurant. And on Sunday, December 28 at 3 pm, Jim Brickman’s The Gift of Christmas brings warm, cozy musical cheer to the Plaza Theatre.

2. Schitt$ Creek Drag Brunch
Schitt’s Creek fans can kick off the weekend with big laughs at the Schitt$ Creek Drag Brunch on Saturday, December 27 at 11 am at Chill Bar. The KGAY Retro Lunch airs Monday through Friday from Noon–1 pm, with DJ Galaxy (Vincent Corrales) and DJ Eric Ornelas playing an hour of their high-energy throwback mixes. On Sundays, we put all five hours together for the Retro Sunday Brunch from 11 am–4 pm. Perfect party music! The KGAY Sunday Tea Dance with Modgirl airs every Sunday from 4–6 pm (right after the Retro Brunch). All our DJs took honors in the Best of Coachella Valley this year!
This Weekend: MODGIRL’s Birthday Bash brings high‑energy fun to The Red Barn in Palm Desert on Saturday, December 27 at 8 pm. The next morning, catch Modgirl at A.M. Stream at Café La Jefa on Sunday, December 28 at 10 am!
