Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 2/4/25 – The power of music, generosity, and community has once again proven unstoppable. FireAid, the star-studded benefit concert for Los Angeles wildfire relief, has now surpassed $100 million in fundraising—an astounding show of support from Southern California and beyond. And with donations still rolling in, the total is only expected to climb.

The funds will provide both immediate assistance and long-term recovery for wildfire-impacted communities. Those who still want to contribute can do so at FireAidLA.org—because every dollar makes a difference.

A Concert for the Ages

FireAid wasn’t just a fundraiser; it was a global entertainment event. With more than 50 million viewers tuning in across 28 streaming platforms, and two packed venues—Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum—it was an unforgettable night of music and unity.

The massive fundraising total comes from ticket sales, sponsorships, merchandise, and public donations, including major contributions from the Azoff family, the Eagles, Andrew Hauptman and Ellen Bronfman Hauptman, and U2. The LA Clippers covered operating costs, while Steve and Connie Ballmer matched every pledge made during the live and on-demand broadcasts. Live Nation played a key role as the production partner, ensuring a flawless event.

A Collaboration of Powerhouses

FireAid was the brainchild of Shelli and Irving Azoff, the LA Clippers, and Live Nation, with Joel Gallen (Tenth Planet) serving as executive producer and Rick Krim leading talent production.

A-list corporate partners also stepped up, including presenting sponsors Kaiser Permanente, Live Nation, and Scopely, inspiring more than 50 brands to contribute.

Diamond Partners: American Express, AT&T, Capital Group, Netflix, Snap Inc., U.S. Bank, UBS, Venmo, and Visa Foundation.

Gold Partners: AEG Presents, DIRECTV, Goldman Sachs, HBO, Intuit, Starbucks, YouTube, and the Verizon Foundation.

Silver Partners: CalHOPE, Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, JPMorgan Chase, Salesforce, Schuman Family Foundation, SiriusXM, Sony Honda Mobility, Spotify, and TikTok.

Where to Watch & How to Give

If you missed FireAid, don’t worry—you can still stream it on 28 platforms, including Apple Music, Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime Video, TikTok, SiriusXM, and more. It’s also screening in select AMC and Regal theaters nationwide.

The Road to Recovery

The FireAid Grants Advisory Committee, led by the Annenberg Foundation, is ensuring the funds reach those who need them most. The team is actively assessing local needs, studying past wildfire disasters (including in Maui and Northern California), and prioritizing aid for communities hit hardest. The first wave of grants is expected to be awarded by mid-February.

With FireAid’s record-breaking success, it’s clear: when music and humanity come together, anything is possible.
