A Dream N’ Production is proud to unveil the soft premiere of its action-packed sports film with a supernatural twist, Ghost of the Game, on August 30, 2025, at the Starlight Theatre, located at 10701 Town Center Drive, Rancho Cucamonga. Screenings will take place at 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM.
Directed by Darrell Warren, this heartfelt film blends history, reconciliation, and sport to deliver a powerful message. Ghost of the Game weaves a gripping tale of diversity and cultural unity through the timeless lens of baseball.
About Ghost of the Game
The story begins in 1945, where two childhood friends, one Black, one white, are enlisted by the Ghosts of the Game to integrate baseball across segregated leagues. As adults, now sports announcers, they are visited again by the spirits urging them to unite past and present through a climactic match—a “ghost game” where teamwork transcends racial divides and financial gain.
Why This Premiere Matters
Ghost of the Game defies expectations by using sport and supernatural elements to untangle historic tensions. It’s a film that asks: What does it take for past and present to find reconciliation? Audiences not only witness a historic game but are invited to reflect on the legacy of America’s pastime—through the lens of unity and love for the game.
