The collection currently comprises 19 tightly plotted novels with strong character arcs, suspense-driven twists, and a loyal reader base Maureen will be signing the following three novels at DPA pre-Grammy gifting suites.
Red Hands
Synopsis: The Red Hands symbolize the ongoing crisis of missing and murdered Indigenous women in the United States, particularly among Native American communities. The red handprint is often seen painted across the mouth of those advocating for this movement, representing the silenced voices of these women who have been victims of violence, kidnapping, or murder, often without proper investigation or justice. This crisis is rooted in a long history of systemic marginalization, lack of proper law enforcement response, and jurisdictional challenges. In this novel, add the unsolved serial killer known as the Zodiac Killer, and this murderer could be involved in the ongoing crisis of the missing and murdered Indigenous women in the Native communities. This Zodiac Killer leaves behind clues in the form of letters and ciphers regarding these missing and murdered Native women and in the case of one murdered Native woman who is killed in Sheridan County, Wyoming, where Mary MacIntosh is left prosecuting the case. Who is the infamous Zodiac Killer and is it really him from the late 1960s and early 1970s, or is it a copycat killer? Mac must solve this puzzle before another Indigenous woman is killed.
Deputy Dawg or D.B. Cooper
Synopsis: Deputy Dawg or D. B. Cooper, a Mary MacIntosh novel, follows two true crimes that occurred within months of one another in 1971. Deputy Dawg was a lawless hippie in the late 60s and early & 70s in Boulder. Then in Nederland, Colorado, he shot and killed Sheriff Guy Howard Gaughnor in Nederland in 1971. It was a senseless crime. D. B. Cooper was the hijacker of Northwest Orient Airlines Flight 305 from Portland to Seattle on November 24, 1971. He somehow managed to have his ransom demands met in Seattle and instructed the captain to fly the Boeing 727 at 10,000 feet with a flight plan to Mexico City. Somewhere near the Washington/Oregon border, he lowered the aft stairs and parachuted out into the dark rainy night with $200,000 strapped to his torso. He was never seen or heard from again, and the mystery remains unsolved. It is the only unsolved hijacking on U. S. soil. Mary MacIntosh (Mac) is the prosecuting attorney in Sheridan, Wyoming, and when Sheriff Kane is shot and killed leaving the Last Chance Saloon in Bighorn, Wyoming, she is faced with deciphering who the killer is. Deputy Dawg? D. B. Cooper? One must read this gripping novel to find out what happened.
Gilgo Beach
Synopsis: Rex Huermann, a 60-year-old architect from Long Island, has been charged with multiple murders connected to the Gilgo Beach serial killings. The investigation began in 2010 when police discovered the remains of several individuals near Gilgo Beach, New York. Many of the victims were young women working as sex workers. In July 2023, Heuermann was arrested in Manhattan and charged with the murders of Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello. In January 2024, he was charged with the murder of Maureen Brainard-Barnes. In June 2024, he was arraigned and charged with the murders of Jessica Taylor and Sandra Costilla. In December 2024, he was indicted for the 2000 murder of Valerie Mack. In January 2025, John Douglas, who is the most well-known FBI profiler, called Mary MacIntosh to engage her assistance in seeking further victims of the Gilgo Beach serial killings, Mac agrees to help on the weeks she does not share custody of her four teenagers. She and John engage in a thrilling hunt for the rest of the victims of this ruthless murderer, who by all accounts, was a married man with two children who had a secret life of meticulously planning these murders and then was sloppy in the execution. Hold onto your hats for a wild ride to find more victims of the Gilgo Beach serial killer.

I am “Only Josie Knows” and unfortunately there is no more Entertainment Reporter Joan Rivers (REST IN PEACE). Joan Rivers was an ICON. Don’t worry my viewers, you have me and I too come from the same genetics (THE JEWISH PEOPLE) and our lineage passes on from generation to generation. Joan liked me and once called me a “A STREET WALKER” on her show on E Entertainment “Fashion Police” as I arrived for an industry event. I am sure she is looking from above and is proud that I am continuing her legacy with some Jewish wit and humor. I will make sure to share with you all the Glitz, Glamor and tell you the INSIDE SCOUP at the most fabulous A list pre gifting suite for the 2026 Grammys. Stay tuned.
