Laugh-Out-Loud New Flick.
By Gordon Durich
The dark comedy Don’t Tell Larry, starring the inimitable Ed Begley Jr. as Bruce is laugh-out-loud funny. The plot follows Susan (Patty Guggenheim), a driven corporate office worker whose supposed harmless white lie to her eccentric, truth-obsessed co-worker Larry (Kiel Kennedy) sets off a fatal chain of events.

Her lie leads to tragedy and Larry appears to be the culprit. Susan enlists her cubicle-mate Patrick (played by Kenneth Mosley) to help cover it up—only to unleash a chaotic spiral of increasingly absurd consequences. Drug testing and a hilarious result!

An ensemble cast of comedic greats make Don’t Tell Larry a treat to watch. I really loved the movie A Mighty Wind which saw Begley Jr. play Lars, and this new film is in the similar whacky and irreverent tone.
Dot-Marie Jones (Glee), rocker Billy Blair of The Last Stand fame and the versatile Bruce Davis contribute their talents to this hilarious thriller romp.

Indie director Greg Porper produces the film alongside John Schimke (Red Table Talk). Porper, the Worst Birthday Ever director also wrote this summer edgy entertainment. Unrated.
