This year was a lot more organized than last year, everything was well put together which made easier to get find things. Every performer was on point with they’re performances which had the crowd going. I do personally have to say the best performance was probably day 2 featuring Long Beach’s finest 213 Snoop Dogg, who was very interactive with his audience and performed a good show for his fans. Everyone was happy and going along with his performance. Glad he was added to the line up! Here is a couple of short videos of Snoop.
Rebelution formed in Isla Vista, with frontman Eric Rachmany gives it all with a great show and really gets the crowd up on their feet swaying back and forth to jumping up and down to raggae rock music. Stick Figure, based in Southern California did not disappoint their fans with frontman Scott Woodruff featuring music from their latest album “Wisdom”. Another favorite was Cypress Hill from South Gate with rappers B-Real and Sen Dog (real name Senen Reyes) playing songs from new album “Back in Black” to others from many of their awesome albums.
This year the event did have a few changes, only for the benefit of being more organized with everything including having people watch over the trashes around the festival to make sure everything went into the correct bin. It was cool that the trash bins were dumped when it they got full.
The #BYOBottle station was really cool to have free water to fill up our camel packs.
Overall it was definitely one for the books, each day had a different vibe which made it more interesting.
