Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/14/25 – On August 2, 2025, Sound Siren took over the legendary Viper Room on Sunset Blvd, delivering an electric set that proved why this iconic venue still matters. Fronted by Chris Poulson, former drummer of Rock Kills Kid, the band showcased a polished blend of pop-punk energy and rock grit with songs like ParasiteTime,  and their powerful pop-rock debut single, The Other Guy.

Their vibrant performance demonstrated why they are quickly becoming a band to watch in the 2025 music scene. With a string of singles produced by Taylor Carroll of LIT and a full-length album on the horizon, their momentum is building rapidly. Chris Poulson commanded the stage with gritty vocals and powerful guitar work, keeping the crowd fully engaged from start to finish.

Rooted in catchy hooks and dynamic rock rhythms, the setlist ranged from ParasiteOne of ThemTime, and Life Goes On, to the soaring choruses of Leavin’, showcasing their range and future potential. Music Connection praised Life Goes On as the perfect fit for stages like Whisky a Go Go, signaling their readiness for bigger venues.

Sound Siren debuted in late 2024 with The Other Guy and includes Chris Poulson (lead vocals, guitar), Aaron Bolaño (lead guitar), Lucas Caputo (guitar, backup vocals), Alex Grossfeld (bass, backup vocals), and Jeff Samataro (drums). Their sound draws inspiration from Simple Plan, Sum 41, Blink-182, Unwritten Law, Foo Fighters, Sugarcult, and Jimmy Eat World—appealing to both pop-punk loyalists and fans of contemporary rock.

Their heartfelt rock ballad Time debuted in January 2025, followed by the pop/rock single Washed Hands in April, and their latest single Spaceships in May. These are part of an ambitious run of 10 singles scheduled for release throughout 2025.

With strong live performances, solid songwriting, and a growing catalog of anthems, Sound Siren has the talent and drive to make serious waves in the music scene. If their Viper Room performance is any indication, 2025 will be their year to step into the spotlight.
