I have to say Virgo Season is my season where things get” LUCKY” for me and I find that all my hard work and endless bids to interview the A listers seem to come together “And Just Like That” Only Josie Knows got an interview with “Metta World Peace”. Formerly known as Ron Artest who is a retired successful NBA (National Basketball Association) player who played 17 seasons for the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets and New York Knicks. Currently Metta World Peace is doing big things in Hollywood, and I was invited through my new PR company “Top of The Line PR” to his new Management company’s “Artest Management” Group party at the fabulous LA Creator Space in Santa Monica owned by Sylvia Hernandez, and Rex Wong.
We all know that as entertainers we go to many events, and we make the best of each event to network and push one forward. Most of the events are fun and productive, however It’s not always an A list event with the best DJ, liquor/food, Studs/Babes, and talent. However, this party was one of them and I will bring you my viewers at The Hollywood Times behind the scenes and share.
The vibe was amazing as I walked in. DJ Chrysalis was “LIT”. DJ Chrysalis tunes made all feel welcome and relaxed to mix and mingle if you know what I mean. Of course, I went to try Kayla’s Kocktails which was a jungle juice mixed with Dolce Vita Tequila and Cognac and then I had some Bello Pizza which was made right in front of me with the toppings I chose. (delicious)
As soon as I felt good and started vibing, Metta showed up. I have to say this is my first time at an event that a successful NBA Player put on and I must say as a single woman it’s very hard to find tall men in Los Angeles and there were many! I mean many…. I was excited…
Metta gave me a very inspirational interview to “The Hollywood Times” where I asked him some questions that were a little direct, and I must say he responded to “Only Josie Knows” quite well, he did a great job, and you will learn something interesting from his videos
In attendance was a very eclectic crowd and I must say a very sexy crowd as well. I got many interviews with various talent and I am sure you will enjoy my questions to them.
Annabelle Azade Kabjaf who is a fashion journalist, I must say looked fabulous in her yellow pants. Annabelle has been a force in fashion and a west coast correspondent for Bayard Presse. Harper’s Bazaar, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and more for the past 10 years.
Charis Michelsen looked fabulous as well, Charis is an American actress, a writer, producer, inventor, makeup artist and model. Charis is very multi-talented. Just by looking at her you can see her model features. She has worked as model on prestigious campaigns like Levi’s, Pepsi and Tommy Hilfiger.

I don’t want people to think that I am trying to be the next Carrie Bradshaw from “Sex in the City”. We see that Era and Genre unfortunately has retired, but I did learn a lot from her character and that is, as a writer on her way to the top, it has it highs and lows, and this event was one of my highs and I am very thankful for this amazing opportunity given to me by Top of the Line PR.
