Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 7/24/21 – On the evening of Friday, July 23rd, 2021 the Paris Chansons band performed an unforgettable night of French and Italian music with a Russian twist at the Catalina Jazz Club located at 6725 Sunset Boulevard following 15 long months of lockdown. Think of champagne with a little side of vodka!
The dynamic cross-cultural concert featured favorites from Aznavour to Zaz plus beautiful Russian classics such as “Dark Eyes”–and was that a tango we heard halfway through? The lively crowd of dancers in the packed to capacity club quickly created a free style all their own to accommodate the different rhythms!
