It’s not so easy when you’re an author with the idea to turn your book into either a movie or a tv series. That’s what Blake Crouch found out when he decided to turn his best-selling novel “Dark Matter” into a series.
As we approach the second season finale of “Dark Matter”, I had the privilege of having an interview with author, creator, and show runner of the series. We talked about bringing the show from the pages to the screen, and what to expect from Friday’s season finale. I also had a chance to talk with Crouch about the development of the characters and some of his influences.
Here is the synopsis of the season two finale:
Episode 210 – No Quiet Life
Daniela meets herself as Jason, Blair, Ryan and Amanda put it all on the line to save a world and destroy the Box.
“Dark Matter” is produced for Apple TV by Sony Pictures Television. Crouch serves as creator, executive producer, showrunner and writer alongside executive producers Matt Tolmach, Richard Lederer and Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry, who co-wrote every episode of season two with Crouch, starring and executive produced by Golden Globe nominee Joel Edgerton and Academy Award-winner Jennifer Connelly, with returning ensemble cast members Alice Braga, Jimmi Simpson, Dayo Okeniyi, Oakes Fegley, and Amanda Brugel.
