Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 6/17/26 – The highly anticipated world premiere of Nemesis 6 drew a packed house of sci-fi fans, filmmakers, and cult cinema legends on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the Laemmle Town Center 5 in Los Angeles.

The latest installment in the beloved Nemesis franchise marks a significant milestone for the series, originally created by visionary filmmaker Albert Pyun. Following Pyun’s passing, filmmaker Dustin Ferguson stepped into the director’s chair to continue the legacy of one of independent science fiction’s most enduring franchises.

Ferguson shared his appreciation for the opportunity, saying, “I am humbled to have taken over the reins of the Nemesis universe since Albert Pyun’s passing. I only hope I did it justice, as he left a lot to live up to.”

The red carpet welcomed an impressive lineup of talent from the film, including filmmaker Dustin Ferguson (Seed: Legacy), special effects artist Meri Gyetvay, actor Joseph Williamson (Spider Baby), franchise star Sue Price (Nemesis 2-6), Dawna Lee Heising (Bad President), Ivy Smith (Attack of the 50-Foot Centerfold), and Julie Ann Ream (House on Haunted Hill).

Also in attendance were a host of genre-film favorites and industry veterans, including Michelle Bauer (Nightmare Sisters), Brinke Stevens (The Slumber Party Massacre), Suzanne Von Schaack (Tootsie), James Darius, three-time Congressional Award winner, David Sterling, producer of the long-running Witchcraft series, Vida Ghaffari (The Mindy Project), Ken Brewer (Death Bitch), C. Courtney Joyner (Trancers 3), Mark Pirro (A Polish Vampire in Burbank), Tony Malanowski (The Alien Factor), Dr. Angela Sadler Williamson, Emmy-nominated PBS producer, and award-winning filmmaker and congressional candidate Anna Wilding.

Nemesis 6 serves as the final chapter in the cult sci-fi cyborg saga. The film reunites audiences with Alex Sinclair, portrayed by Sue Price, as she embarks on one last mission through time to prevent the Red Army Hammerheads from constructing a new Nebula. Faced with impossible odds, Sinclair creates Alex Rain 2.0, the most advanced hybrid ever developed, to assist her in a final showdown set in the distant future.

Longtime fans of the franchise embraced the film’s blend of action, science fiction, and cybernetic adventure, celebrating both the continuation and conclusion of a story that has entertained audiences for decades.

The evening was not only a premiere but also a tribute to Albert Pyun’s lasting impact on independent genre filmmaking. Guests filled the theater with excitement, honoring the franchise’s history while looking ahead to its final cinematic chapter.
