WOMEN IN SUPPORT OF MAYOR SEPI SHYNE FOR CONGRESS – Mandeville Ranch Fundraiser

West Hollywood, California (The Hollywood Times) 06/19/2023 – Sepi Shyne is running for Congress in CA-30, the seat currently held by now-U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Adam Schiff.  Mayor Sepi Shyne’s Mandeville Ranch Fundraiser.

She made history in 2020 when she was elected as the first LGBTQ+ woman of Iranian descent in the world to lead her city. Sepi’s work as West Hollywood Mayor and as a small business attorney in private practice has been focused on making the American Dream a reality for all who seek it, leading the fight for equality and civil rights, for economic success, and for safe, healthy communities for each and every one of us. The Hollywood Times was there for Mayor Sepi Shyne’s Mandeville Ranch Fundraiser and interviewed Cuban Chinese cellist and interdisciplinary artist SUUVI and Sara Seyed, activist, actor, and prior human rights lawyer.

A Festival Napa Valley favorite, Cuban-Chinese cellist and interdisciplinary artist SUUVI (formerly Sophia Bacelar) was born in 1996 and grew up between New York, Paris, and Berlin. Her work has appeared at Carnegie Hall, La Fondation Louis Vuitton, the Berliner Philharmonie, the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA NY), the Fashion Institute of Technology, Alice Tully Hall, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Le Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Tonhalle Zürich, and other renowned museums, galleries, and concert halls worldwide.

Sara Seyed is an activist, actor, and prior human rights lawyer. The past few months she has been dedicating herself fulltime to sharing, discussing and talking about the revolution currently happening in Iran. In this episode, we cover the latest news on Iran, how her love for acting and activism have been woven through her life, and why it’s so important for those of us with the ability to speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves.
