West Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 5/30/25 – The energy was electric, and the outfits were fierce as WeHo Pride 2025 launched in spectacular fashion this past weekend with its official Opening Party at Beaches Tropicana. On Wednesday night, May 28, LGBTQ+ luminaries, local legends, and a diverse crowd of allies packed into the vibrant, neon-lit venue to usher in Pride Month with the unmistakable flair that only West Hollywood can deliver.

Beaches Tropicana, known for its tropical vibes, dazzling drag shows, and inclusive atmosphere, was the perfect setting to set the tone for this year’s pride festivities. With rainbow lights bouncing off palm-print walls and cocktails flowing from the beach-themed bars, the party pulsed with music, laughter, and community spirit.
The night featured live DJ sets, pop-up performances, and surprise appearances from local drag royalty and influencers. Whether it was the thumping dance floor or the palm-shaded patio filled with hugs, reunions, and photo ops, every corner of the venue was buzzing with pride and purpose.
“This isn’t just a party—it’s the beginning of a season where we celebrate who we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re going,” said one attendee, decked out in rhinestones and rainbows. “Beaches always brings the heat, but tonight was something special.”
Pride organizers and community leaders also made appearances, highlighting the significance of this year’s theme: “Unity in Visibility”, a call to celebrate authenticity and amplify underrepresented voices within the LGBTQ+ spectrum.
