When Diana Tran, founder of TresDiana Cosmetics, speaks about her skincare line, her voice carries both vulnerability and conviction. A Vietnamese American entrepreneur who arrived in the U.S. at 25 without speaking English, Diana has transformed her personal struggles, including a long battle with eczema, into a flourishing beauty brand now gaining national attention.
“I used to have eczema, and I was struggling for many years,” Diana told me during our interview. “I used cream recommended by doctors, and they didn’t help me. I found a product made in the USA, and that worked. I wanted to invest my time into the business and help other people who are struggling like me.”

Diana’s path has been anything but easy. After learning English with the support of a mentor she fondly calls her “adopted mother,” she pursued education at Middlesex and the University of Massachusetts Lowell, earning degrees in business and finance. She also earned a cosmetology license, eventually opening her own salon and winning recognition such as the 2009 Young Alumni Award.
Her entrepreneurial drive eventually led her to launch TresDiana, a brand deeply informed by her personal health challenges and her decades in the beauty industry.
I had the opportunity to try the products TresDiana mailed to me, and they reflect the same integrity Diana spoke of on our Zoom call. The eczema soap impressed me with its gentle yet thorough cleansing ability. Diana explained that “for children or babies, I recommend just five minutes on the skin, but for adults, it can be left on for up to half an hour. The longer, the better, because it clears very quickly.” I found the soap calming and non-irritating, leaving my skin soft without the dryness typical of harsher medicated cleansers.
The follow-up eczema serum is, as Diana described, “an amazing product made with all-natural, organic ingredients… hydrating, antibacterial, and calming.” The blend of honey, shea butter, aloe, and natural antioxidants provided a noticeable soothing effect, especially on areas prone to redness and irritation. Used consistently, it helped improve texture and reduce inflammation in a matter of weeks.
For those seeking additional benefits, Diana also recommends pairing her Vitamin C serum with the eczema line. As she shared, “Our Vitamin C is very good for anti-inflammation… people can use both together, and separately, it’s fine either way.” I tried the combination, and it offered a healthy glow while calming skin sensitivity.
Diana emphasized that many of her customers have experienced life-changing results. “Some of them have struggled for more than 30 years,” she explained. “After 3–4 weeks using my products, some say they never have eczema again. They send me pictures, before and after. It’s like a miracle soap.”
And her business growth reflects that. In Portsmouth alone, she sold over 14,000 units of skincare in just nine months, without advertising, relying solely on word-of-mouth and loyal customers.
While TresDiana is already making an impact, Diana’s ambitions reach even further. “I have a big dream,” she told me. “I want to grow bigger and bigger, and I want to create other brands, like clothing, shoes, and bags, related to the beauty industry.”
As someone who has both experienced her products firsthand and heard her heartfelt story, I believe TresDiana is not just another skincare line, it’s a brand born of resilience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others.
