San Diego Transcendence Retreat (Bliss on The Bay) – REVIEW

Mission Bay, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/27/25 – 9/28/25 – By coincidence or cosmic convergence, the 2025 San Diego Transcendence Retreat was held at the Bahia resort in Mission Bay at the same moment 3I Atlas party-crashed into our orbital consciousness.
The Bahia hotel’s bayside ambiance was the pitch-perfect setting for this two-day retreat devoted to transcendence, expanded consciousness and dimensional awareness. The event occupied the entire fifth floor of The Bahia’s convention center and presenters were backdropped by a breathtaking view of Mission Bay. Workshops were scattered throughout the complex, with some workshops held beachside. San Diego cooperated by providing its usual gorgeous climate which never strayed from the mid-seventies by day and mid-sixties at night.
Suzanne Ross hosted and organized the event, and she hit home runs on both counts. She also kicked off the event with the best guided meditation session I’ve ever experienced. No easy feat with several hundred participants. Also co-hosting and providing comic-relief was Alan Steinfeld, a respected elder in the Ascension community and Suzanne’s wing man throughout the years.
A special feature of the retreat was a dinner cruise hosted by Jimmy Church. The food and service were top tier. It was a welcome opportunity to mingle with attendees and organizers alike. There is no hierarchy at Suzanne’s events, only community. Inspirational live music was provided by Singer-Songwriter Omashar at both the cruise and at the conference.
Highlights during the weekend event were many:
Mark Anthony (psychic and attorney) continued his mission of dragging Quantum Physics out of the purgatory of ‘weird science” with a fact filled, science driven oral argument that fully utilized his skills as an attorney. His presentation (as always) was laced with sharp humor and empirical data. He tied it all together with biographical profile about Mary Lincoln and her incredible journey of heartbreak and tragedy that somehow Anthony spun into a story of redemption.
Dalial Burgoin gave an incredible demonstration of telepathic ability, whereby she triple blindfolded herself and was able to identify the color of placards held behind her back. Her daughter Lidu demonstrated the same ability as well. Random participants were involved to dispel any doubts about the authenticity of their skills.
Befitting his Rock Star status, Darryl Anka closed the event with an entertaining demonstration of his channeling abilities in front of a packed house.
This writer was surprised that 3I Atlas was not a front and center topic at the conference. Past conferences have predicted an imminent sea change in collective consciousness. Moreover, our material world would be changing profoundly and soon. The time frame often mentioned is 2025 to 2030. And here came Atlas sailing into our collective mindset like an astral Queen Mary.
I asked Suzanne Ross about her thoughts on 3I Atlas:
SR – “It’s funny, I haven’t felt called to tune into the 3I Atlas phenomenon. The one that has intrigued me is the one (asteroid) called Apophis, named after the Egyptian chaos dragon Apep. It’s scheduled to make a close flyby (20 to 30 thousand miles) on April 13, 2029. Right before the big 2030 transition and AI singularity that theorists are heavily focused on.”
Suzanne spoke about the success of this year’s event:
“Everyone had rave reviews and that filled my heart with so much joy and affirmed why I host these retreats. The resort was breathtakingly beautiful, and the San Diego Bay was peacefully blissful. I will definitely have this retreat again next year. This was our first annual San Diego Transcendence Retreat and for us, it was a huge success in that it touched the souls and filled the hearts of our guests. We’re confident that it will grow and flourish.”
The success of The San Diego Transcendence Retreat pairs with Suzanne’s other ongoing project, The Sedona Ascension Retreat which boasts the fire and Red-Earth energy of Sedona Arizona, Suzanne’s hometown.
