Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/27/25 – Then come to GIRLACTIC MUSIC FEST, a space-themed celebration at the legendary Whisky a GoGo on Wednesday, August 27, 2025! Seven all-girl bands will take the stage back-to-back in a night to remember, serving up the power of fem-pop, punk, and rock. Expect high energy, bold sounds, and a historic moment as Girlactic makes its official debut, set to become an annual summer festival at rotating SoCal locations.

Festival founder and producer Kitten Kay Sera, also frontwoman of Pinktastic Plastixx, created Girlactic Music Fest as a platform for all-girl bands that are too often overlooked in the music scene. “Women only make up 20% of music festival stages,” Kitten notes. “I felt we needed this—and I am thrilled to see my dream realized.”
Adding to the spectacle, the GIRLACTIC GIRLS will circulate in dazzling space-themed costumes, serving looks, selling merch, and keeping the energy cosmic. Fun fact: the launch coincides with National All Girl Bands Day on August 27th!
