The complete schedule for the 22nd Annual HollyShorts Film Festival is now live, giving filmmakers and movie lovers their first opportunity to plan 11 exciting days of screenings, special events and industry programming in the heart of Hollywood.
Taking place August 13–23, 2026, HollyShorts will welcome emerging filmmakers, established industry professionals and enthusiastic audiences from around the world. The festival will be headquartered at the legendary TCL Chinese Theatres, with additional programming throughout Ovation Hollywood.
This year’s lineup promises an impressive range of cinematic storytelling. Audiences can explore everything from Opening Night premieres and late-night horror screenings to documentaries, animation, comedy, science fiction, romance, student films and music videos.
Whether you are attending to discover the next generation of filmmakers, support a particular project, participate in an industry showcase or simply spend the day immersed in great cinema, HollyShorts offers something for virtually every kind of movie lover.
The festival experience extends well beyond the screenings. Filmmaker Q&As provide audiences with an opportunity to hear the stories behind the films, while panels, networking events and industry programs bring together creators and entertainment professionals from around the world. The festival will conclude with its annual Awards Gala on August 23.
For those who want the complete festival experience, HollyShorts is offering an All-Access Pass that includes admission to screenings, filmmaker Q&As, industry panels, networking events and additional programming throughout the festival.
Passes are currently available for $200, but the price will increase substantially as the festival approaches:
- July 24: $500
- August 5: $1,000
