Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 3/17/24 – The opening of Tequila Mockingbird’s LA Punk Museum at Taylor Junction, Joshua Tree, California with Rolo Castillo, Terry Taylor-Castillo, Denise Brown, Gitane Demone, Phil Bosua, Rikk Agnew, Alice Jones, Drywall Dave, Cyrina D Hadad, Glen Harris, Tom Snell, Steve Gregoropoulos, Billy Tsounis, Bill Benton, Stephen Red Hill, so much creative energy, lots of great music, L’s Salsas, Tequila Mockingbird and the Blonde Moondust, People of Earth, Atomik Kangaroo, pinball machines, glow-in-the-dark music posters, AI everything, Tequila/TheAKA’s marriage, some sweet little pups, my favorite happy trees and cholla cactus, a couple portals to the mystical unknown, lots of art and artists and art-lovers, Frank Lloyd Wright, Jr, friendly people everywhere, Sky High Pie, old friends, new friends, snow-capped mountains beyond the high desert, and the spirit of dear Dina who loved this sacred space.
