Sunday TODAY: Paul Rudd talks about his career and when his son realized he was famous

This weekend on “Sunday TODAY,” Willie Geist sat down with actor Paul Rudd, who spoke about his experience shooting the upcoming season of “Only Murders in the Building.”

Rudd told Geist, “For a comedy fan like myself, Martin Short and Steve Martin, that’s Mount Rushmore. I mean, truly, hero worship. So to get to work with them was, I still kind of can’t believe it. Selena, I adore…And then when I heard Meryl Streep was onboard, it just didn’t seem real.”

He continued to talk about his career and the moment his son realized he was famous. “I think that my son, when he was about four or five went to a movie theater to see a movie with his friends…there was a movie poster that I was on. It was in the lobby. So they all just thought that I worked at the movie theater, which I thought was very cute.” He added, “I think when he was 15, he finally put it all together.”
