They always say that if a woman dreams to big, she will end up an old maid. Coming from a Russian Jewish family, where wanting Mr. Right to be tall, handsome, successful, being a man of God and the most important giving an offer of marriage within a reasonable time period and upgrading your lifestyle where the man takes 100% financial responsibility, is considered delusional and grandiose. Well, my readers at The Hollywood Times I am here to tell you about my friend Raquel Figlo who found all that she wanted and more at the age of 46 years young. I will take you my viewers behind the scenes and show you this A List Dream Wedding at the Fabulous Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dana Point organized by one of Hollywood A List Wedding planners Jenn Laskey (Red Light Special Events).
I met Raquel Figlo through my entertainment career many moons ago. We are currently in the Strawberry moon. Raquel Figlo is a well-known Entertainment Publicist in the LA/OC area for the past 15 years. Raquel’s PR company specializes in building visibility and credibility for brands that dare to be bold. Raquel Figlo Public Relations represents Music Artist, Entertainment & Lifestyle Brands. I have always been drawn to Raquel because she always told me, “Josie Never Settle and don’t listen to the people around you, do what your heart tells you”. Advice I took when it came to my career and love life.
I was extremely excited to attend Raquel’s wedding because Raquel followed her own advice and she never settled until she met her Prince Charming aka Brian Bell. From day one, I have always heard positive comments about Brian. He asked for her hand in marriage immediately after reconnecting after seven years of not seeing each other. There was no bf/gf ambiguity. He showered her with all the gifts she dreamed of. Mr. Brian Bell took Raquel to all the places she always wanted to visit. She would always tell me how much fun they would have together and how Brian is such a good man to his children, friends and employees. I saw Raquel level up on all levels of her life, from her faith, values, career and most importantly her “character” when she accepted Brain Bell proposal to be his wife. She gained the “WIFEY confidence. The Pastor explained how important is in their faith to have marital unions. Staying in the bf/gf zone is not what God wants for his children of the lord.
Most of the weddings of my friends and relatives are somewhat of downers for me because they would always say this could be you if you got up from your high horse. I would always snap back and say, trust me, this is not what I want in the friendliest way with a fake smile on my face. I really enjoyed the pastor’s sermon from “Ecclesiastes 3:1 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.”
And Ecclesiastes 3: 11 “He has made everything beautiful in his time”
Isaiah 60:22 “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen”
I am so excited to share with The Hollywood Times readers that a woman who is 46, and to be fair Raquel Figlo is stunningly beautiful, highly educated, with very high morals, a great loyal friend and the most important quality I like in Raquel is that she wishes everyone to be happy and get what they want out of life.
I am “Only Josie Knows” and the Pastor gave me many affirmations on June 27, 2026 that there is no missing the boat in anything in life. If you are a believer like me in God, I know that my life is divinely planned. All my love affairs are just preparing me until the timing is right by God. NOT SOCIETY, SYNONGOGUES, RABBIS, FAMILY OR FRIENDS. It felt so good to see Raquel make her dreams a reality and marry such a quality man like Brian Bell AND UPGRADE to the BEST IN EVERYTHING she wants. The Hollywood Times would like to wish Raquel and Brian a lifetime of happiness and all the very best.
