San Francisco, CA (The Hollywood Times) 7/3/26 – San Francisco’s beloved Outside Lands is preparing to turn Golden Gate Park into one of the most delicious destinations of the summer, and frankly, anyone who thinks this is “just a music festival” clearly has not seen the menu.
Returning August 7–9, 2026, Outside Lands will once again blend music, culture, community, food, wine, beer, cocktails, and enough culinary temptation to require comfortable shoes and a very forgiving waistband. With headliners including Charli xcx, The Strokes, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, the festival already has plenty of star power on stage. But this year’s food and beverage lineup makes a strong case that some of the biggest stars may also be behind the grill, behind the bar, and quite possibly behind a very glamorous pastry cart.
The 2026 culinary program features 100 Bay Area restaurants representing 53 cuisines, offering festivalgoers a true taste of one of the most dynamic food regions in the country. Outside Lands has long understood that a great festival experience does not stop at the music. It lives in the wandering, the discovering, the “I’ll just have one bite” that somehow becomes a full-on food tour before the next set even begins.

Among the iconic names joining the festival are three San Francisco legends with more than a century and a half of combined history: Perry’s, Original Joe’s, and Balboa Cafe. Festivalgoers can look forward to Original Joe’s Prime Rib Dip Sandwiches and Spicy Rigatoni, Balboa Cafe’s Chicken Paillard Tenders and Caesar Salad Wraps, and Perry’s classic comfort-food favorites. It is old-school San Francisco meeting festival glam, and yes, there will be Espressotinis on tap with cold foam, because apparently, we are all living our best caffeinated lives now.
Outside Lands also continues to make room for inventive, one-time-only culinary collaborations. This year’s standouts include Wise Sons x Outta Sight Pizza with Hot Pastrami Dip Sandwiches, Pizza Bagels with Burrata, and Cacio e Pepe French Fries. Jaji x Tallboy will bring an Afghan-Martini Bar twist with lavash wraps and Dirty Martini Olive Potato Chips. Reem’s x Lion Dance Cafe will offer a creative Arab Singaporean Italian pairing, including vegan Fried Eggplant & Potato Flatbread Wraps with Sambal Tomat.

For VIP guests, the experience gets even more elevated. Restaurant Naides, named San Francisco Chronicle’s “Best New Restaurant” in 2026, will present Filipino fine dining in a festival format, including BBQ Pork & Garlic Rice Bowls and Lobster Lumpia. Copra, a modern Indian standout and 2026 James Beard finalist, will serve Chicken Kari, Mysore Masala Dosas, and Butter Chicken Basmati Rice Bowls.
New pastry carts will also roll through the park this year, and honestly, that sentence alone should sell a few tickets. Parachute Bakery will offer Vanilla & Passionfruit Croissant Cubes and Yuzu & Black Sugar Pastries, while Tano brings Ube Diplomat Cream Salt Bread, Sourdough Focaccia Crazy Bread, and Sesame Toffee Chocolate Chip Cookies. Because nothing says “festival survival” like strategic pastry.

For those seeking the highest-end experience, the Golden Gate Club once again offers Outside Lands’ most luxurious hospitality setting. Designed in collaboration with Ken Fulk, the space will feature chef-driven menus from Tyler Florence of Miller & Lux, James Beard Award finalist Melissa King, and Dana Younkin and Nancy Oakes of Boulevard. Add expanded caviar service from The Caviar Co., curated cocktails, golf cart transportation, and front-of-stage viewing, and suddenly “festival day” sounds suspiciously like “luxury vacation.”
Wine Lands returns beneath the eucalyptus canopy of McLaren Pass, curated by festival wine director Peter Eastlake. This year’s wineries include new additions Auteur, Cakebread Cellars, Merriam, and Seppi, alongside returning favorites such as Aperture, Marine Layer, Pax Wines, and Turley Wine Cellars. VIP Reserve pours will include selections from Ashes & Diamonds, Kosta Browne, Roederer Estate, Scribe, Clos du Val, and others.

Cocktail Magic will transform Lindley Meadow into a playful world of themed bars, imaginative drinks, and sensory experiences. New this year is Tasting Menu, a food-inspired cocktail concept featuring a Parmesan Espresso Martini made with vodka, black pepper, butter-washed espresso, coffee liqueur, and parmesan foam. It sounds slightly outrageous, which is exactly why someone will try it and then make everyone else try it too.
Returning cocktail worlds include The Buttery Tipple, Hello Yellow, En Vogue, Everybody’s Tavern, and Dive Bar, with drinks ranging from rum-based tropical creations to espresso-forward classics. Teremana Tequila, White Claw, Cayman Jack, BeatBox, BACARDÍ, Hennessy, Owen’s Craft Mixers, Be LOVE, Athletic Brewing Co., and JOLENE Coffee will also be part of the beverage program.
Outside Lands is also continuing its sustainability efforts across the food and drink program. Vendors will use compostable bamboo or paper plates, utensils, and packaging, while refillable stainless-steel cups and free water refill stations help reduce waste throughout the weekend. The festival reports a waste diversion rate of more than 89 percent, one of the highest among major U.S. festivals.
Founded in 2008, Outside Lands has become one of San Francisco’s signature summer events by bringing together music, food, drink, art, and culture in historic Golden Gate Park. The 2026 edition looks ready to continue that tradition with a lineup that invites guests to listen, taste, sip, discover, and maybe loosen the belt just a little.
