West Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 12/8/25 – The She Angels Foundation Holiday Bash once again wrapped the season in warmth, sparkle, and sisterhood as members and supporters gathered on Sunday, December 7th at the stunning Cavatina at the Sunset Marquis in West Hollywood. Generously hosted by Catherine Gray, Debra Smalley, and Julie Peterson Klein, the evening reflected everything She Angels stands for community, upliftment, creativity, and meaningful impact.

Guests arrived early for complimentary lite bites and cocktails while enjoying live guitar serenades that set a festive, welcoming tone. Laughter echoed across the terrace as members reconnected, and new friendships formed around the shared mission of empowering women and girls.

“This event is always a highlight of the year,” one member remarked. “It’s the perfect blend of celebration and purpose, something only She Angels can pull off with this much heart.”

At the heart of that purpose is the Foundation’s deeply personal grant-giving model. Typically, at She Angels events, members get to meet the very women-led nonprofits they support, seeing first-hand exactly where their contributions are going. As Catherine Gray shared, “The people who are members get to see where their money is going and actually meet the people who receive the grants.” Last night was no exception, as Meredith was honored with a $10,000 grant for her organization, one of many women-owned nonprofits dedicated to initiatives supporting women and girls. These include programs ranging from domestic violence support to educational opportunities for young women throughout the city.

“Our grant recipients are women-owned nonprofits that have women and girls’ initiatives,” Gray explained. “It could be anything from an entity that’s helping women with domestic violence to one that is educating girls in our city.”

But the night also included something unprecedented. For the first time in the Foundation’s history, both Catherine and Deborah made personal donations, not to a single grantee, but to the organization itself, to help She Angels expand nationwide. “That was not a typical thing that we do,” she noted. “Last night was the first and only night we’ve ever had a donation like mine and Deborah’s to help the organization grow.”

Guests were touched not only by the generosity but by the clarity of purpose that defines She Angels.

She went on to underline the distinction: “The movie is to help women learn to invest in other women entrepreneurs and build wealth. The foundation is for philanthropy and helping the women doing nonprofits. Oddly, we are only funded 2% in both arenas. Go figure.”

The night’s musical centerpiece began at 5pm with a dazzling performance by singer and advocate Devyn Rush, who shared songs from Nico Juber’s highly anticipated Broadway-bound production, Millennials Are Killing Musicals. Devyn’s voice, soaring, soulful, and joyfully expressive, captivated the room. “I just love being here with a community that supports creativity and women-led storytelling,” she said before taking the stage. “It’s the kind of energy every artist dreams about.”

She was joined by Nico’s father, the legendary Laurence Juber, Grammy-winning guitarist and former lead guitarist for Paul McCartney and Wings. His virtuosity elevated the performance into a true showstopper. “Seeing families come together to support each other’s creative journeys, that’s the spirit of She Angels,” an attendee shared. “Laurence and Devyn brought the house down.”

The evening culminated with the beloved Grant Giveaway, an emotional reminder of why this community thrives. The room erupted in applause as the newest grant recipient was revealed. “This is what makes She Angels so special,” a guest observed. “We’re not just celebrating the holidays, we’re changing lives.”

The Foundation’s grants recognize and elevate grassroots, female-founded nonprofits providing mentorship, funding, and critical resources for young women and girls. The excitement in the room reflected the pride members feel in contributing directly to transformative change.

Outside, rideshares lined Alta Loma Road as guests departed with glowing smiles, still savoring the unity and uplift of the evening. Inside, the atmosphere sparkled with joy, gratitude, and the unmistakable hope of the season.

“As a proud member, I always leave these events inspired,” another attendee shared. “It’s not just a party; it’s a reminder of what’s possible when women join forces.”

This year’s Holiday Bash was festive, heartfelt, and deeply aligned with the Foundation’s mission, a true celebration of generosity, creativity, and connection. Everything She Angels embodies.

Here’s to another year of empowering women, making waves, and giving wings to new possibilities. Happy Holidays from She Angels!
