‘The Out-Laws’ Debuts at #1 on Film, ‘The Witcher’ Reigns as Top of TV for Second Week

TOP 10 LISTS: July 3 – July 9

The summer of action continues as the new action comedy The Out-Laws – the new bank heist film starring Adam Devine, Nina Dobrev, Ellen Barkin and Pierce Brosnan  – debuted at #1 on the English Films list with 19.6M views, making it the most viewed title this week. Extraction 2 held strong at #2 with 8.9M views this week, bringing its all time views to 111.4M in only four weeks since its release.

On the Most Popular list, The Mother starring Jennifer Lopez climbed to #9 with 130M views to date. The critically acclaimed animated feature Nimona quickly rose to #3 (6.7M views), while new documentaries Unknown: The Lost Pyramid (5.6M views) and WHAM! (4.4M views) entered the list.

Netflix The Witcher

All three seasons of The Witcher dominated the English TV List as Season 3: Volume 1 reigned at #1 for the second week with 13.8M views (66.5M view hours divided by 4.82 runtime hours). Fans revisited Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer’s journey, sending Season 1 to #6 (2.6M views) and Season 2 to#7 (2.4M views).

Court is officially back in session as The Lincoln Lawyer claimed two spots on the list. Season 2 of the legal drama starring Manuel Garcia-Rulfo debuted at #2 (7.4M views), and Season 1 returned to the list at #8 (2.3M views). New entrants included the stand-up special Tom Segura: Sledgehammer at #3 (4.5M views) and unscripted competition Is It Cake, Too? at #4 (4M views).

Netflix Make Me Believe

On the Non-English Films List, Turkey’s rom-com Make Me Believe climbed to #1 with 3.8M views, while India’s Lust Stories 2 jumped to #3 (3M views). Spain’s Through My Window: Across the Sea remained on the list at #4 (2.6M views) as the original film Through My Window landed on the list for its 16th time (0.9M views). Returning to the list were Danish drama A Beautiful Life, South African heist drama iNumber Number: Jozi Gold and Dutch drama Faithfully Yours.

Netflix Celebrity

Returning favorites ruled the Non-English TV List, with Korean dramas Celebrity (5.6M views), King the Land (3.6M views), Bloodhounds (1.6M views) and See You in My 19th Life (2M views), Mexican drama The Surrogacy (2.2M views), Colombian thriller Fake Profile (1.5M views) and German limited series Sleeping Dog (1.4M views). New additions this week included new South African series Fatal Seduction (5.1M views) which is the first thriller from South Africa to appear on the Non-English TV list.
