I have to say that I have hit the score board with my Peruvian men in my life so far the highest, best, and unimaginable way one could ever dream of. From the bottom of the barrels to the A list. Come to think of it my thoroughbred horse trainer Julio Canani was also from Peru and he was able to break “Only Josie Knows” maiden when no one else could. Julio also got “Only Josie Knows” to win her biggest race for fillies at the prestigious Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. Then my A-List Celebrity Photographer “Humberto Carreno/Startraksphoto.com” who goes by his new name Inti Pachurin, got my pictures on the Page Six on the NY Post for the Celebrity section a few times. That was a very big opportunity when you’re up and coming tv personality and building an on-air personality. Most don’t make it to page six unless you’re on the A list. I wanted to share with you my viewers about how this amazing opportunity arrived and how the industry really works, and how it pays to be at the right place at the right time.
It was New Year Eve and Lady Gaga was performing at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach in 2009. I was hanging out at Fontainebleau Hotel and it was a Paparazzi Takeover within seconds. I have never seen such a rush in my life of Paparazzi, I asked what is going on? They said Lady Gaga is on the Balcony with a mystery man and we are trying to get a picture. After they got their shots of Lady Gaga and her mystery man, one guy looked at me and said, hey your Josie Goldberg, Playboys Finest, I said yeah, he then started shooting me and (LUCK ARRIVED) … see pictures

Then this handsome Latin photographer came up to me out of the blue and said, hey, let set up a shoot, I have an idea that you will like. I had no clue what was going on and then BOOM! Page Six @ NYPOST.

Meet Inti Pachurin…
Inti Pachurin (Son of the Sun), a Peruvian photographer based in New York City, has photographed US President Barack Obama, UN Special Envoy Angelina Jolie, Nobel Prize laureate Mario Vargas Llosa, musician Jay-Z, and indigenous people of Peru and Bolivia.
His work has been featured in galleries in New York, Miami, Washington DC, and Lima, as well as published in The New York Times, Rolling Stone Magazine, and The Daily Mail. Ten of his portraits of indigenous people of Peru have been selected for preservation and acquired by the United States Library of Congress. In 2024, The National Arts Club in NYC chose Inti to share his work with a standing-room-only audience for their 125th anniversary. The Q&A continued past the hour mark and only ended when the curator kindly asked people to leave. Inti says:
“For better or for worse, the storyteller is part of the story. In all photographs but especially in portraits, the subject chooses the emotions and the connection they are willing to share with the photographer in that moment. So, we have no choice, we have to tell our stories. There is no one else who can.”
Inti has completed an MA in Communication Sciences from The University of San Martin De Porres (USMP) and specialized courses at The International Center of Photography (ICP) in New York City. Inti uses Hensel Lighting and has been an ambassador for the brand since 2008.
Seasonal workshops and internships are available every summer for photography students in South America.

Inti, was recently in Los Angeles and I was able to interview him for “The Hollywood Times”. I was finally able to get some insider information from Inti, on what makes his “PORTRAIT SHOT” make it to the top media outlets and even the United States Library Congress and you can hear his answers here.
Since I am “Only Josie Knows” I had to get some gossip on what A list celebrity, was the hardest and or easiest to shoot. Who do you think Inti answered?
I am “Only Josie Knows” and I’m thinking will God send me another Peruvian man than can bring me to the top again? Stay tuned…
