LA Live, Los Angeles (The Hollywood Times) 12/02/2024 – I had the best time last night. I smiled, danced, laughed, sang along and cried. Those two men are brilliant, talented and do have God given voices. Their show was outstanding and memorable.
Well, what can I say? Multi-GRAMMY®, AMA, Billboard, Dove, RIAA Gold Award winning duo and Curb | Word Entertainment recording artist for KING + COUNTRY did not disappoint the more than 6,000 attendees on Sunday night at the Peacock Theater for their first of six select 2024 performances on its upcoming “DRUMMER BOY CHRISTMAS | THE 2024 TOUR EXPERIENCE.” The Christmas Holiday has started for me with this beautiful concert which included several Christmas songs and a few stories from both Joel and Luke about Christmas, snow and holiday songs, since they didn’t have those white Christmas in Australia like the U.S. and countries have. It sure was great to hear them talk about growing up and then coming to America to start a new world. If you have not seen the movie “UNSUNG HERO” you definitely need to see it. What a story…A true story of the Smallbone family.
The most exciting thing, once we entered the Peacock theater was checking out the merch. WOW, great T-shirts, baseball cap, nap sac, little drummer boy wooden ornament, CDs, a vinyl record, collectible metal water bottle. Here are a few things I purchased.
The next exciting thing was our SEATS…WOW, first row A behind the pits seats. Awesome and the guys came out into the audience and I was able to shake their hands. Thanks very much to Lucine & Lori of RCPMK.

The highly anticipated holiday spectacle will come to select cities in December: Los Angeles at The Peacock Theater on December 1; New York at The Beacon Theatre on December 9; and to Nashville, at the Grand Ole Opry House from December 17-20. The annual high-octane show that brother duo Joel and Luke Smallbone have become known for, will showcase an extraordinary production blending festive visuals and stunning lighting and staging effects.

Here is a video of some of the amazing songs performed at the Peacock Theater at LA Live Sunday night, December 1st. What an amazing and moving concert this was. All in attendance were blessed to be part of this concert. We all got great news that for KING + COUNTRY will be working on new music and another movie in 2025 and then we got a little sad news, that the duo will be taking 2025 off to bring us new music and that movie. We will all miss them next year, but we all know that in 2026 we won’t miss them when they come back to LA.
Just when we thought the night could not have gotten any better, we were invited to meet Joel and Luke after the concert for a photo op. My friend Dani was able to get a couple of posters autographed as well. They are two of the nicest guys you will ever meet and those smiles!
