Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/21/2026 – How do you hold onto control when desire becomes overwhelming? That question sits at the center of Episode 4 of Equilibrium, Kayden Kross’s five-part feature for Deeper. After helping guide someone else through the line between obedience and truth, Kenna James’s character suddenly finds herself facing the same test.
Equilibrium follows three sisters divided between an ordered surface world of duty and appearances and an underworld of the psyche, where desire takes physical form. James plays one of two nuns who draw the youngest sister out of her longing, but Episode 4 turns the lesson back on her. This time, James is placed at the center of an airtight gangbang with Chocolate Rod, Prince Yahshua, Parker Ambrose, Hollywood Cash and Goldey, pushing her character’s desire to its breaking point.
For Kross, that intensity serves a larger purpose. “The test is when your desires are strongest, when your libido is highest, when your human drives are the most vocal: do you still have the discernment to look for what the other side is bringing? And so Kenna, she’s losing it. It’s overwhelming.” James still has to find that discernment even in the middle of the storm, Kross said. “That’s the point. And we get a great gangbang. She kills it.”
For James, getting to that place meant allowing herself to become lost in the character’s desire. “The scene itself was all about being lost in lust, so a bit of it was Kayden’s direction, but I think a bigger part was the set itself,” James told The Hollywood Times. The environment helped create the dreamlike quality she felt while performing
That artistic direction became James’s favorite part of the experience. “I always love the way her things come out and I’m always so proud of the product I get,” James said of working with Kross. “This one was nice because it felt so dreamy and you could take any direction with it.” It is a side of the production that could easily be overshadowed by the scale of the sex scene itself, but for James, the atmosphere and performance were clearly connected.
James has appeared in more than 30 Vixen Media Group productions since making her Vixen debut in 2017, with credits across Vixen, Slayed, Tushy, Tushy Raw and Deeper. Despite that history, Episode 4 still gives her an opportunity to show audiences something they have not seen very often. “Diving into her direction, it was almost like I lost myself to this desire, so that in itself can allow you to lose yourself in your own mind for the scene.” “I hope they can appreciate the artistic direction, but I know they will love it because it is only my second gangbang that I’ve ever done,” James said when asked what she was most excited for fans to experience. “I do like giving them new views of myself and showing what I can do.”
Episode 4 of Equilibrium premiered August 20 exclusively on Deeper and Vixen Plus. The five-part feature concludes with its grand finale in September.
