NASHVILLE, TN (SEPTEMBER 24, 2025) – Surrounded, the sound of patience, prayer, and perfect timing released by award-winning Christian artist Joy Holden pairs powerhouse vocals with heartfelt storytelling, delivering songs that lift, comfort, and inspire. Her music centers on the nearness of Jesus, reminding listeners they are never alone. What began as “pure joy” became an 18-month journey of letting God steer the ship, slowing down, and allowing the right songs and circumstances to arrive. She credits three-time Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning producer Barry Weeks, “the best of the best,” a rare heart-first engineer and music/vocal producer, whose goal was to honor God with excellence and who believed in her every step of the way. This marks the project’s first radio campaign release, introducing the song to programmers and audiences nationwide as the single begins its journey across Southern Gospel airwaves.

The project came to life through a truly collaborative team: produced and mixed by Barry Weeks, engineered by Steve Dady. TN. Vocals were recorded at BNR Productions in Thompson Station, TN, with vocal engineering and programming by Barry Weeks; tracks were recorded at Sunset Blvd Studio in Brentwood, TN, with arrangements by Barry Weeks and Joy Holden and mastered by Mike Cervantes at The Foxboro Mastering Studio.
