Palm Springs, CA (The Hollywood Times) 3/24/26 – As the countdown begins for one of the most anticipated women’s weekends of the year, Desert Legends 2026 is shaping up to be bigger, bolder, and nearly sold out. In an exclusive Zoom interview with The Hollywood Times, performer, producer, and visionary Jennifer Corday shared her excitement, and the deeper purpose, behind this four-day celebration taking place April 2–5, 2026 in Palm Springs.

“We are just a few days away, so I’m super excited for Desert Legends 2026,” Corday said with infectious enthusiasm. “It’s an incredible lineup and an incredible weekend of events, and I’ll be performing live, which is always one of my favorite nights.”

At the heart of Desert Legends is a mission rooted in legacy, community, and connection. Corday explained that the event was born out of a desire to preserve the spirit of the iconic lesbian spring break gatherings that once defined Palm Springs.

“I saw the need for us to continue this tradition,” she said. “We wanted a place where we could all gather again, share stories, enjoy music, play sports like golf and pickleball, and really create something that speaks to the 40-plus community.”

That vision has clearly resonated. Many of the weekend’s signature events are already at capacity. The pickleball tournament is officially sold out, the wildly popular Funny Gals comedy show has no remaining seats, and general admission tickets for Corday’s Saturday night concert at Hotel Zoso’s Fillmore Room are gone. Only a limited number of premier seats and VIP tables remain.

Still, there’s plenty of opportunity for attendees to jump into the experience. “The pool parties, cocktail events, and meet-and-greets are open spaces where everyone can mix, mingle, and connect,” Corday noted. “Those are some of the most fun parts of the weekend.”

And when it comes to her own performance, Corday promises something truly special.

“I want to make this show extraordinary,” she shared. “People may have seen me perform before, but this is going to be different, special songs, surprises, and guest artists.”

Among those joining her on stage are powerhouse drummer Vicci Stewart, known for her work with Pink, and fan-favorite Sweet Baby J’ai. The collaboration reflects what Corday loves most about Desert Legends: bringing talented women together to create something unforgettable.

Palm Springs itself plays a starring role in the event’s success. Once considered primarily a destination for gay men, the city has evolved into a vibrant and growing hub for women, especially those seeking community later in life.

“There’s something magical about Palm Springs,” Corday said. “The energy, the weather, the history, it’s always been a special place. But now we’re seeing more women moving here, retiring here, building second homes. It’s really become a balanced and thriving community.”

Beyond the music and festivities, Desert Legends is also about giving back. This year, the event benefits the L-Fund, with support from sponsors including title sponsor Olivia Travel, as well as platinum sponsors Tailwaggers and Sage Mint Wealth. Attendees can look forward to high-value giveaways and a silent auction featuring standout items like a Caribbean cruise and a year’s supply of pet food.

“It takes an army to make this happen,” Corday said, acknowledging the sponsors, volunteers, and partners who help bring the weekend to life. “We’re just so grateful for the support.”

As both co-producer and media partner, The Hollywood Times is proud to be part of this growing legacy. And if Corday’s passion is any indication, Desert Legends is more than just an event, it’s a movement.

“It’s about connection, empowerment, and community,” she said. “That’s what makes it so special.”
