It was a sweltering hot summer day in the city of Los Angeles on July 16, 2026. There was also a catastrophic, century-old 36-inch water main rupture in West Hollywood creating a giant sinkhole.  Everyone and everywhere was chaos and getting around town was tough.

In Los Angeles we feel bad when our fellow Los Angelinos go through this deluge.  However, the show must go on as they say in show business as “Top of the Line PR” & “INFO LIST” was putting on a FABULOUS Industry party in Celebration for Comic Con.

San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is a massive annual pop culture and entertainment convention held at the San Diego Convention Center (July23-26) in 2026, celebrating comics, movies, TV & gaming.

I am “Only Josie Knows” and come with me “BTS” as I will show you the cool costumes that talent was wearing, I also found out what talent is up to, and the FABULOUS A list VIP GIFT bags by “WEN” Hair & Body Care line that guests were given.

The first person I interviewed was Jeffrey R. Gund, CEO of “INFO LIST”. “Info list”, is a networking and opportunity platform, for people working in film, television, music and other creative fields.

Charis Michelsen

Fashion Icon and Entrepreneur Charis Michelsen was also in attendance and promoting her TV shows and a new feature film she’ll be starring in. Her events brand Elevated has joined Top of the Line PR and Spoiled and Entitled to do A-list awards show-related gifting suites in Honor of the 78 Emmys.

I have to say that manifestation is real. I have been trying to meet Chaz Dean who is the founder of “WEN” Hair & Body Care Line for quite some time.

I first remember seeing Chaz Dean’s infomercials on QVC with celebrity spokesperson and actress Alyssa Milano. For years, I have admired the WEN Hair & Body Care line and hoped for the chance to meet him.

I have often received criticism about my hair color, style, and texture. When I am on a TV show or production, the look is handled professionally, but those opportunities have been few and far between at this point in my entertainment reporting career. When industry executives see “ONLY JOSIE KNOWS,” there is always some kind of critique.

The irony is that my mother has been telling me for the past year that my color is not quite right and that I need to find a celebrity hair color specialist who can help create my signature color, style, and cut.

One never knows what the future holds, but there has been some dialogue between Chaz and me. I would love to manifest a future event where he gives my hair the transformation I have been hoping for.

I also hope Chaz attends my “Spoiled and Entitled” Gift Suite in honor of the 78th Emmy Awards, which I am presenting in partnership with Elevated and Top of the Line PR this September.

It was also nice to see my first talent agent from back in the day when I was a Playboy Model and Reality TV star. We had some Deja–VU conversations about some people that we mutually worked with and knew.

The most fulfilling meeting for me was finally connecting in real time with my colleague and fellow The Hollywood Times reporter, Juan Markos.  I was impressed by the interview he conducted with me. Juan is not only a genuine well-wisher, but also someone who knows how to execute excellent interviews. It felt good to work with him in such a positive and professional way.

In this industry, competition can often create bad vibes, especially because there are not enough paying jobs for so many talented people. That made this experience even more meaningful.

They had some amazing A-List Special Guests in attendance including Rod Roddenberry (Exec Producer of the STAR Trek franchise), Tim Russ (starring as “Tuvok” in Star Trek: Voyager), Shane Black (writer/director of Iron Man 3, The Predator, Leathal Weapon), Michael Berk (creator/producer of Baywatch franchise), Adam Schlagman (Exec Producer of Shazam! and Black Adam) top VFX and animators from Avengers, Spider-Man, Planet of the Apes,  Stranger Things, Godzilla) to name just a few!

I hope to work with Juan Markos again. He is the red-carpet reporter, while “Only Josie Knows” brings the behind-the-scenes perspective for The Hollywood Times.
