Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson. Jean Smart will be receiving the National Equality Award while Sterling K. Brown will be receiving the Ally for Equality Award. First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden will deliver the evening’s keynote speech. The HRC LA Dinner honors those who work tirelessly for LGBTQ+ equality. The Human Rights Campaign Equality Award recognizes an individual or organization that embodies the passion and dedication to advancing LGBTQ+ equality. These attributes align with HRC’s mission of creating a country that inspires and engages all Americans to work toward ending discrimination against LGBTQ+ citizens and realizing a nation that achieves fundamental fairness and equality for all.
