Palm Springs, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/14/26 – One of Palm Springs Pride weekend’s signature gatherings will mark a major milestone this fall as the Human Rights Campaign Palm Springs–Coachella Valley Garden Party celebrates its 25th anniversary with a special “Silver Palm Edition.”
The 25th HRC Palm Springs–Coachella Valley Garden Party will take place Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Dinah Shore Estate in Palm Springs.
The Human Rights Campaign has officially listed the Palm Springs Garden Party among its 2026 events, with HRC Palm Springs organizing the November 7 gathering.
For a quarter century, the Garden Party has brought together LGBTQ+ community members, advocates, allies and supporters for an afternoon that combines celebration with a continuing commitment to equality. Previous editions have drawn hundreds of guests for an afternoon of community, connection and advocacy while raising support for HRC’s work.
This year’s anniversary celebration carries particular significance as it unfolds during Palm Springs Pride weekend, when the desert welcomes visitors from across the country for one of Southern California’s largest LGBTQ+ celebrations.

The timing makes the Garden Party a natural centerpiece of an especially busy weekend, and its Silver Palm Edition gives attendees another reason to celebrate the history of LGBTQ+ advocacy in the Coachella Valley while looking toward the work still ahead.
Last year’s 24th annual Garden Party recognized the City of Palm Springs with HRC’s Community Leadership Award, honoring the city’s commitment to LGBTQ+ equity and inclusion and its consecutive perfect scores of 100 on HRC’s Municipal Equality Index. The Palm Springs City Council, City Manager Scott Stiles, Assistant City Manager Teresa Gallavan and Police Chief Andy Mills were among those present to accept the honor.
The Garden Party has traditionally been about more than simply gathering in a beautiful Palm Springs setting. It has served as an opportunity for HRC members, community leaders, local dignitaries, advocates and allies to connect while supporting the organization’s broader fight for LGBTQ+ equality.
That mission remains especially relevant in 2026. As LGBTQ+ rights continue to face political and legislative challenges around the country, events such as the Garden Party offer an opportunity to celebrate progress while reminding supporters that advocacy and visibility remain essential.

According to the event announcement, tickets and co-host packages are on sale now, and sponsor and partner opportunities are also available.
The Hollywood Times looks forward to joining the Palm Springs and Coachella Valley community in celebrating this important 25-year milestone during what promises to be an extraordinary Pride weekend.
