This year International Woman’s Day was one of the best that I ever had! As a new reporter I have had beginners’ luck and have been covering very talented artists and entertainers the past 7 months. I am very thankful to the publicists who introduced me to their talent, especially one and her name is Melinda Manos of Manos PR. She is a real woman who empowers other woman in today’s society. She introduced me to her client at the time Vince Spinnato for his launch of the perfume he created for Judy Garland called Judy – A Garland Fragrance. Vince Spinnato is a cosmetic chemist and perfume developer to the stars and celebrity brands.
Tonight’s celebration was for the anniversary of the Hollywood Sign turning 100. He has two Unisex perfumes to honor the anniversary called Sunset and Sunrise. Which one are you? I am the sunrise one, as I am an early bird and my magic always happens in the morning, if you know what I mean?
The party was at the Pendry Residence’s rooftop in West Hollywood, Los Angeles and the ambience was incredible. Besides the gourmet foods, the exotic martinis oh and to the smoothies, for those who are watching the weight. When artists and entertainers come together the magic of creating happens. This is the only industry in the world where it does not matter which race, religion, sexuality, gender and or political view one has. All that is pushed aside, and the talent rises through it all. That is when you know you’re in the real industry. That is Mr. Vince Spinnato and his company Turnkey Beauty. He is a curator of brands which include perfume, skincare, makeup, and even feminine products.
When I met Vince Spinnato my life changed completely! Things just turned around for the best! He knows how to take someone’s vision from start to finish. He takes the intangible and makes it tangible. Hence his company is called Turnkey Beauty. What is so amazing about this event was that I met so many talented people that really, I have been manifesting to meet for years and it finally happened that night March 8, 2024.
I met network executives from television to brand manufactures, to fashion designers and even met another fellow successful journalist who befriended me. I also met a group of young successful actors who just finished filming Jennifer Lopez documentary This is Me Now on Amazon Prime. They were very nice and gave actors like me some words of encouragement.
It was a pleasure to be around successful actors, executives, all types of artists. It felt like Old Hollywood was back and making history with our talent is right in front of our eyes. Like they say, the night felt young!
I am very thankful to Vince Spinnato for the invite and gift bags which had his perfumes in them. He is a very generous man and knows what really makes a woman feel empowered from the inside and out! He is a true Gentleman!
